Howdy. 2001 tundra. Recently my brake warning light came on. I have good pressure and all seems fine. Noticed that the EBrake did not work. I haven’t used it in years so I wasn’t too surprised but I’m wondering if this would have caused the light to all of a sudden come on? Any thoughts about this would be great before I do a full diagnostic myself.

Maybe the e-brake pedal is slightly engaged a notch or two? Step on the e-brake pedal to see if it comes back up. You may have to lift it back up with your hand if something is seized.

    Add a little brake fluid.
