The camera is straight on. It is off center by 3 inches, which I can live with. The rear camera is not on exact center either.

    cheers.

I used the camera referenced in 1305 post of this thread. I used a steel 1/16inch thick L bracket to hold the camera via the mount threaded post. The L bracket was screwed into the plastic of the grill. Stainless sheet metal type screw so it would go into the black plastic V but not the long so it hit the chrome piece. It was held on there well, but decided to reinforce the screw with some Black Steel Epoxy. I basically filled in the V groove with the steel epoxy putty under the bracket and around the screw. It should help with any vibrations also. The steel epoxy is amazing, it will hold the threads of the screw if you have to remove it later.

I used the camera in the 1305 post, as it was rated IP69 if I recall correctly. That’s a very good rating wrt being waterproof. Having designed test equipment for ultrasonic systems in the past, water splash and immersion can be treacherous for electrical hardware.

see post #1. I used that method also. You have to solder the wires on as there is no room for connectors.

@John175 Thanks. I like the pop rivet - makes for a very nice clean look. I see the pic in post #1 of the switches as well. This is the method I want to use on my 2020 when the harness becomes available.

I cut off about 10" of the supplied harness and soldered that to the switches. I then put male connectors I picked up at Lowes on the cut off end on the harness. That enables me to disconnect the entire panel if/when I make changes. (pardon my hot glue skills)

The Red line is about 10" from my bumper.

I took a photo up close. It’s an L bracket that traverses two horizontal members. Keep the camera high to get just a little of the lower bar. I did some editing of the photo to contrast the Bracket. 37B481E9-6160-435A-B0B6-6E805E8EE476.jpg

@TundraTex hey there the last couple days I’ve requested an invoice so I can order a harness. Am I doing something wrong?
    Thanks!

Not really. My work usually takes me to the USA a few times a year but 2020 is a new reality.

Fingers crossed, I'll get everything wrapped up this holiday weekend and get the proto-harness out to my local 2020 "Beta" installation tester! If that all works out, I should be able to get my production parts in and start taking orders in 2-3 weeks.

I’d rather not list. My wife might see it.
Hope @TundraTex doesn’t mind. If so, please advise and I will delete post.

@mountainpete We purchased the FRAC harness a few months ago for our 2019 Tundra. We never got around to install it. We recently installed an Alpine Halo9 with front and rear cameras. We no longer need the FRAC harness. I can ship to you for the same listed price + HALF of standard shipping to you. I will pay the other half of shipping (assuming its not crazy $$$) and will throw in the camera that we bought it with. Let me know if interested. Below is the camera that we bought.
