getting close to my build, well actually waiting for Tundra to be delivered. Once I have my Tundra, planning on installing a Magnuson supercharger.
Question is should I bother with getting gears/4.88 (22"x12" rims and 38" tires) and recalibrating speedo?
Originally did not consider it... thanks

Yes I plan on getting a lift (12" bullet proof w Icon coilovers and shocks)

Someone posted a good link on here before about when you need to switch to the 4.88. If you're running 38" tires then you'll want to change the gears.

Agree with the others........Re Gear !!!!!!! Or :turtleride: Well, maybe not with the SC, but you get the idea. Show pics of that monster truck as the project goes. Love the fact you already have 10K-15K spent (on paper anyway) and you don't have the truck yet. :rockband:

There is no 4.56 gears for our trucks. Only stock or 4.88

With a supercharger, you probably won't notice whether or not you've regeared at full throttle. But you're only full throttle 1% of the time.

It's the other 99% of the time when the supercharger isn't boosting and you're easy on the throttle. That's when the gearing will help.

Give me a call. I have a great package on gearing and the magnusson charger. But I will save you a few hundred dollars.
