I've lurked around here for a while, became and member and finally got around to create our build thread. We purchased a 2011 Limited Sequoia in 2014 with 38,000 miles. We're about to hit 100,000 and has been our favorite family car by far. OVTuned last year. We started slow and recently we've done the 2018+ Headlights and grille. Waiting of the Pioneer DMH-4660NEX to be available, that'll be our next interior upgrade.

    Purchase date. 9046773D-.jpgIMG_2503.jpg
The first real upgrade. Wheels got powder coated and the original chrome grille got painted to match. We also threw on some Ko2'sIMG_2506.jpg
Door handles came off a tundra and new brakes went in. Mirror caps and rear emblems got wrapped.
    IMG_2349.jpg

We have kids, so having weather techs come in super handy.
    IMG_2350.jpg IMG_2529.jpg
Ok, so i did the puddle light install, but just couldn't figure out exactly how to wire them up. Took it to my buddy's car audio place, had them wire them up. These VLED's are extremely bright.
    IMG_2530.jpg
Morimoto fog light upgrade. I just couldn't live with black headlights and white fog lights.
    IMG_2426.jpg

New grille was an east install. Both pieces attach to each other and about 10 10mm bolts hold the entire piece in.
    IMG_2495.jpg

The new headlights. Had the panels painted to match, hooked up with @meso for the headlight washer bracket and xrunner for the harness. Initially, UPS lost the headlights so i had to source them locally. The install was fairy simple. Nothing impossible to handle.

    IMG_2411.jpg IMG_2527.jpg IMG_2523.jpg

As it stands today. We really do love this car, it's been great to us. It's been a many road trips, Dodger games and lots of family functions.

Excellent! Looks great. More info on the headlight washer bracket?

Meso Customs does a lot of work for the Tacomas. I reached out to him and he had these in stock. The new headlights do not have the washer brackets. I used some plastic wb weld to attach them to the housings.

Great looking ride! Looks like a 2020. What wire did you end up tapping into for the puddles?

Thanks, we're trying to keep this beauty for a while, might as well give it an updated look.

As for the puddle lights, we went with tapping into the interior light switch. So they come on when you unlock your car and dim when you lock them. The only other thing is, they'll turn on if you hit the switch to the "on" position... even when the car is rolling. Oh well. We really only leave that switch in the "door" position anyways. I can live with it.

hey man! This is a very common issue that many of us Sequoia folk run into when looking at aftermarket headlights. I checked the mesocustoms website, but did not find anything. Is this something to call about? Also I’d bet if they marketed this better, many people here would buy it.

    cheers, and sweet Sequoia!

Yea, it's something to email him about. He knew exactly what i was talking about though. He had them on hand and shipped them the next day along with some other things i had ordered for my tacoma.

If you need to or know of anyone that needs to get a hold of him...

Hello just order the meso parts just one question so I put the thing I bought from meso and just put the washer system till the end and there is no movement Or I have to rotate it a little bit so it goes out what I mean is if I have to do some test before I drill it to the meso part to see if it goes out to wash?

    thanks again

Take pictures of your washer position before you take them off. Anywho, your mount only goes one way and your screws will align your washer to the bracket.

I took my original filler panel and made a template using painters tape to transfer it to the new panels. It came out clean using a dremel and file to clean up the edges before paint.

Definitely came in handy on keeping the headlight washers. Do you need meso’s contact info? I believe I attached it above.

I"ve got mine installed already. Can't help you there.
I used JB Weld for plastic on the install, worked great.
