I think Toyota sets a labor time for the accessories and of course the GM usually wants to push that.

I used to go rogue on that shit all of the time and sell that stuff at like $80/hr for 5-6 hours if the certain tech was cool with it. I would've done a Supercharger at a great discount just to get to play with it. This is probably why I made good money writing service and most of my techs loved me. But that was the shittiest job.

If you are looking at Pro new get Kings like what was recommended above and install them yourself if you can.

So Mr. jberry813, how long do king shocks last before they have to be rebuilt? does it all depend on the driver and how hard the truck has been driven? i might go with kings as I've heard its the best ride on road and off road depending on valving and other factors plus it being rebuildable, that means they will last the life of the truck for years which is a good selling point for me

Totally depends on use. The hotter they get, the faster the oil will bake. I was rebuilding every 2 years on my toy, but it will probably be 3-5 on a DD.
