I've been searching for better headlight bulbs since I've owned my Tundra. I've used both Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs and Philips Crystal Vision which are brighter but with a much shorter life. Sylvania bulb low beams last about 1 year for me. Never had the Philips in long enough but package says 300 hr life. Now to the LED's. I found a huge positive difference by replacing the stock Toyota fog bulbs with Auxbeam LED H11 bulbs which are actually headlight bulbs that I purchased from Amazon at $59.99 for the pair.

I know Toyota says the fog bulbs are H16 but these H11 bulbs fit perfectly and are plug & play. The close-up increased light output is awesome. Really lights up to the sides of the road too. By closeup I'm saying about 20 foot out. Now I have fog lights that actually do something. This past weekend I was at the Philly auto show and bought & installed LED H4 (9003) headlight bulbs and replaced the Silverstar's. As lots of people have say LEDS reflect out differently. They seem great up to 60-80 foot down the road but any further out the Sylvania's were better. They also throw lots of light up high and road signs are noticeably easier to read, this is with the low beams on. By the way, I'm not getting opposing drivers flashing their high beams at me so guess I'm not blinding anyone. I need to adjust them further. The LED center rotates in the indexing collar so you can get a better pairing with the reflector. The high beam function doesn't seem to improve down the road visibility much but this might be improved with rotating the LED element some. I'll let you know after I adjust it some. The LED bulbs I bought at the Philly auto show were $75 for the pair, directly plug into the Tundra harness and I did not need to cut the rubber boot which is necessary with some LED bulbs. The cooling for the LED's is a small turbo fan on the back of the bulb. I took the guys business card from the show and if anyone is interested I can send you the sellers name and contact info. If you're at the show which runs through 2/5, the vendor is on the lower level in the DUB Custom area and is the only one there selling LED lights out of his booth. Overall, even without adjusting, I like these better than the Sylvania's & Philips bulbs so I'm leaving them in. None are as frigging awesome as the factory LED headlights in a 2015 Rogue I have but the bulbs & reflectors have been matched and are the very best I've ever seen.

Side note about Silverstar VS Crystal Vision. Both are short life bulbs that you'll end up replacing much more often that the standard bulbs. I actually put one Silverstar & one Crystal Vision in and could not tell the difference between the two. Took pictures if you're interested. The Philips Crystal Vision were half the price of the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs.
