I dont know why it isnt more common. I opened the rear window on my Tacoma all of twice while I owned it (manual) Since having the CM, I've opened it so many times I've lost count.

My granddaughters and nieces like to climb on the tonneau thru the back window and out the doors. It's fun to watch them do it lol

Funny, we just purchased new rear facing seats for my 14 month son. His previous seat was a Chico, and went behind my passenger seat. My wife, being short, it worked out fine. We now have a Bitrax in both vehicles and I have it in the middle. Holy cow that thing is huge. There is no way that would fit behind the passenger seat and still allow someone to sit up there. I often wonder what will happen when we have a second. I can't trade it now after owning for a little over a year. May have a made a mistake on cab size, though :)

Wife nearly had a stroke when I mentioned a new truck

I cant say I blame her. We've been together for going on 8 years and Ive had 7 vehicles haha. And every time I tell her "I'm keeping this one for a long time"

I used to be the same. Literally around a year. 2 max lol.
Last Tundra I had for almost 2 years (DC) , but wanted more space. I'll be on year 3 with this one come May :)

I myself was thinking of trading in my 2wd XSPS for a Crew Max XSPS and 4wd, but it's a $16k difference.
Is a foot more and 4wd $16k worth??

Holy shit! That thing is gigantic. Did you have any issues when he was smaller and putting the car seat behind the passenger seat

No. We had a Chicco Key Fit 30. They are awesome. Really small foot print for a rear facing seat. I had it behind the passenger seat, and most people were still comfortable up front (especially my wife who is 5'1"). Now, I don't really know what I will do if I have two kids. I'm not sure I though this through really well :) The good news is we still have my wife's 4runner for the main kid running.

Just parked next to a lifted red crew max. Had some dealer marked lift package, but it was sweet. I'm having a little buyers remorse with each passing day :)

Well, I officially put the request in with the dealer today.

Told him to keep an eye out for me on a Blazing Blue Pearl Crewmax or Inferno. Requirements were 2015 or newer, under 15k and a 5.7L.

I'm in NO rush to do this....but the ball is starting to roll.
