So I succeeded from 2008-2016 on my GMC Sierra with no door dings. I take the walk and park to advantage against parking lot medians to avoid a car on each side and I hug curb lines ect. Today I parked far left lined with a pedestrian walk way in the parking lot that never gets used anyways. So this guy decides he needed some of my space too to the point I cant fully open my door. This crap gets under my skin. Needed to rant.... If you got some good picks lets see em!

I usually hock up a good loogie and put it right on the drivers window about head high. If I can muster up another one, right on the windshield at eye level. That shit boils my blood.

I've been known to do the same.

So, recently at the home defect, some ass wipe hit my truck, left a nice dent in the lower rocker passenger door but no note. And now I notice a ding in the driver door, looks like someone shot it with bb gun. (Don't ask how I know what that looks like) Freakin' pisses me off. I do try to park and walk too.

I hate when I park in the back of the parking lot that is one third full if that, only to come out and find a car parked on each side of me and about 100 spaces free everywhere else. WTF do you think your car needs a friend or something?! GTFO! Skip a space if there's room. FY I respect other people's property and go out of my way to not even touch the most shitty of cars. Even if I've got beef with you, I'll say to your face. Now if I see your car has obviously damaged mine I'm waiting for your ass in the f$$king parking lot. At least a Lougee

This is 99% of why I now have sliders. Maybe I notice it more but since I've installed them I seem to have high lifted trucks parking next to me that can hit about the sliders. Lucky those guys tend to be aware and I've escaped any door dings on the Tundra. My Tacoma used to get dinged weekly.
I have a friend who will pull into his garage and his wife will open the door and hit her own car. He's given up on trying to fix it and just filled her side the garage to make her park outside. Unfortunately situational awareness is less common than common sense these days. The mouth breathers milling around in the middle totally unaware drive me nuts.:infantry:

I was actually sitting in my Tundra at the In N Out by Casino Morongo when I noticed this lady struggling to park next to me. As soon as she parked, I told my girlfriend, "watch her swing her door open". Sure enough she just swung it open right into the side of my truck. I immediately threw my burger down and got out of the truck to inspect it. She continued getting stuff out of her car as I was looking at it, I then confronted her about it. She proceeds to tell me she doesn't know what I am talking about because she just got to her car from getting food!!!:frusty::frusty: Upon leaving, I may or may not have left her a fat dent in the side of her POS camry with my fist.

Last time I was at a mall I parked way out away the entrance. Walking to the door I was thinking that no one in that town knows how to park. Half the vehicles were crooked, on the line. taking up 2 spaces, or even up on curbs around landscaping. I am glad I have not had to visit a mall in years. When I go to a store I try to park next to cart return to insure that one side is protected and I have room to open my door to load groceries or whatever.

Same, I stay so far away from the cart returns. Especially since I have seen people shoot the carts from the other aisle trying to get them into the cart return.

Was at the liquor store just last week and came out and there is a bmw blocking me in. So i go inside and yell out who is blocking me in...Guy comes out to move the car and does not even say a word.
Was at a retail store in my gmc junky work truck and my wife stayed in the truck and i come out the store and there is a car parked 1 foot from my truck all crazy at an angle. So i just squeezed on in and might have left a nice dent in their door. This was a long time ago and i probably would not try to get in now.
I do now have a smartphone so i can now take pics of stupid shit.
I always make sure i am evenly inbetween the lines especially in the tundra.
Oh and i have always thought parking spaces are too freaking small!

Went to Home Depot not too long ago. Parked in the very front parking spot. Come out to see a car parked in front of me blocking my way out except by backing out in a TIGHT spot (wasn't even a designated spot)

I thought, "no problem you twat waffle, I'll teach you"

I go to the nearby cart return and take out ALL the carts flip them upside down and make a wall around the car as close as I can get to it. Only takes a couple minutes and not too many people will confront a guy with a shaved head and a beard LOL

What really really fries my ass are bad park jobs in the handicap spot. I swear they feel like not paying attention to the "between the lines" rule. They may be handicapped, but should not be incompetent...

True. In CO everyone drives an SUV, yet they make parking spots fit for a compact car.

My dad, of all people, parked next to me last week and when he opened the door the wind snatched it right into my rear passenger fender. Left some lovely blue GMC paint and a small ding.

If it wasnt my dad he would have gotten throat punched.

Paint buffed out but now I see the ding everytime I look at my truck. Good enough reason to go ahead and upgrade to the 5.7?

That's unfortunate. You kind of have to buy a 2017 5.7L TRD PRO at this point. Sorry bud, I see no other way
