2020 Tundra TSS 4X4 Black on White - TRD Dual Exhaust

Just installed the new TRD Pro Dual Exhaust...loooove it.

All good, like you said "miles of smiles" and that's how it's been all day...lol

Did you install it yourself? If so, any difficulties, tips,or advice?

 

I did install it myself, took nearly 30 minutes, one major tip, be sure to lower the spare tire first, and move it away or just lower it is good enough. I used 2 bungee cords to hold the exhaust, but I would say they were of very little use, the best thing to do is after removing the old exhaust, take off all of the rubber hangers, put them on the new exhaust then hang it in place first then tighten everything up. BY THE WAY, I used Bam Automotive to get my exhaust, and I have to say they were very strange but nice people. I paid about $950 out the door. They are located in Ohio.

Just curious, why will it "kill your mileage for awhile?" If you're referring to mpg, does the TRD exhaust lower your gas mileage after install? I came really close to buying the TRD exhaust for my Tundra (actually placed the order and then cancelled it) but ended up buying a 10" BAM muffler system and installing it this past Sunday. While I'm still getting a feel for the actual new mpg, I'm averaging about a 4 mpg increase since installing an S&B cold air intake along with the BAM muffler.

 

Mileage drops only because it sounds so sweet when you get on it.
