I used the putco harness. Just plugged it in and pigtailed the 2 white wires. One white wire was off the harness and other off the blade. Capped off the black wire as well.

Did you use the Curt harness in conjunction with the Putco harness? Any splice/T-tapping of wires?

Something to add to my wishlist. Had one years ago on a Dodge and loved it. I think it was a Recon.

It's pretty cool, but does anyone think it's overkill? Do you guys like the one that blinks with the turn signals or just the straight light bar / brake?

    Not nearly enough room here!
With all the peeps driving around with their faces in their phones,I'm good with the amber flashers on the light bar matching the flashers on my truck....overkill or not.

I just bought this light bar with this Curt harness.....can't I just splice into the Curt harness for reverse? Trying to figure this out. Also not a fan of splicing into factory wires, but I'll cut into this $25 harness and re-crimp it no problem.

You should be able to tap into the center pin (reverse) on the plug that plugs into the factory plug......hopefully you understand what I mean.

Got it! Works great and saved me from having to cut into any factory wiring. Thank you.

Yeah, it was super simple. Little bit of cutting and soldering. Curt harness is the way to go over the Putco. Hardest part was making sure the light was straight on the truck.

Ya that was the hardest part, for me also.
    It looks really good.

:oldglory:On newer models any problems with Blindspot monitoring, cross traffic alerts because it uses the trailer adapter??
I’ve heard people having to wire it to the rear taillight harness to avoid problems with safety options.
