So for the last 2 weeks i have been hearing a noise coming from the right side tire when i turn the wheel either way at low speeds. Took it to the dealer and they said it was the N-Fab lightbar, and by this i mean a large metal bar that i can mount lights on, that i had installed. I'm going to have it checked where i installed it this week. But has anyone had this issue with or with out a lightbar.

What's the bar hitting? Sure its not tires rubbing against a skid?
Get under the bar and check for rub marks

I assume this is on the front bumper and no where near the wheel wells for the tire to rub on it. Do you have any pictures?

i will get some pictures a little later when there is light out. As far as the light bar it looks like the brackets are sitting on the metal part of the inside of the bumper. So i was thinking of asking the installers to put some rubber padding between the bracket and the bumper. But like i mentioned i will take some pictures and post them. as far as the tire rubbing the skid that had crossed my mind but it makes the noise as well when i turn the tire right.

I doubt it's your front bumper/light bar. Unless they did the install really funky. Take some pics when you can. I'd like to see this.

Yeah i get what your saying. But you know how dealers are they try to get out of fixing anything and try to put the blame on something else.

That's exactly what I'm thinking. They'll blame your rear tail lights not working on a roof mounted light bar if they could.

i think they were pissy cause i didnt have them install the bar but they were claiming it was going to take 4 hrs to do a 1 hr job and charge me $450 to install a $150 part.

Any tire contact? How is the bar making the noise on right turns only? Is the tire coming into contact with anything under the truck?

I have heard of using rubber isolators for these style of light bars...give it a shot. Cheap to do.

Is the truck modded in any other way?

I had a weird metal hitting metal sound coming from my front passenger side as well when I hit bumps a certain way...turned out the alignment bolt needed was a little loose.
