Hello all. I tried to searched for this but couldn't find anything...but most likely I overlooked it.

My question is has anyone switched out the 12V cigarette lighter with a dual Blue Sea USB port?
I know there is a cheaper way by using a plug in USB cigarette adapter charger. Which is what I am doing now but would like a cleaner look. Any input or pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Is it pretty straight forward? Would you happen to have a write up on it?

    Thanks

I actually took the piece off today because I mounted my Rago dash plate. It definitely was easy. Another reason why I am thinking of doing it. Did you wire it up your self? I have no electricity skills but if I can find a write up or video I can follow I can definitely do it myself.

I don't recall having any issues with the connections but your usb plug is different, so not sure.
Got some useful info from this post as well:

Thank you @EDDO think I may have found a couple videos on how to do it. Seems pretty straight forward.

Great! Yeah plan on replacing the passenger side cigarette with USB and the driver side with heated seat button.4F396792-F14F-425E-A9EA-52BE834A7BE0.jpg
