I went to install my bedrug today for my 2020 Crewmax. The Bedrug I ordered from Autoanything is for 07+ Shortbed. So I unpacked, unrolled the main bed section (also have the tailgate section) and put it in to see how it fits. At first I didn't think it looked right from the bed profile and it kind of fits. Now that I look at it I either was shipped the wrong one in the correctly labeled box, or I'm very disappointed in the cutout which does not even match the Crewmax bed.

If anyone else has a bedrug in a 2020 Gen3 I'd appreciate your thoughts. This does not look like the right "bedrug" If it is I'm very disappointed in the short fit and odd trimming. I'd expect it to fit snuggly all the way around. If this is correct for a Tundra it's going back. IMG_0976.jpg IMG_0971.jpg IMG_0972.jpg IMG_0974.jpg IMG_0975.jpg

Here's pics of the bed sections not covered. If this is intended it's a really cheapoInkedBedrug Pass rear 2 detail draw.jpg InkedBedrug Pass Front_rev1 draw.jpg InkedBedrug Driver Front_rev1 draw.jpg InkedBedrug pass rear_Rev draw.jpg InkedBedrug driver rear_rev1draw.jpg InkedBedrug Pass rear 2 detail draw.jpg InkedBedrug Driver Front_rev1 draw.jpg InkedBedrug pass rear_Rev draw.jpg InkedBedrug driver rear_rev1draw.jpg poor fitting (slides all over) bedmat. I'm hoping it's the wrong mat since it's such a poor fit. Just the look of it says poor quality IMO.

Thanks all for the input. Appreciate knowing this is not the way Bedrug fits for others. I'll work with Autoanything and get it returned and possibly a replacement Monday when they open. I do like the "mat" material so hopefully they can send me one the is cut to match my outside bed floor perimeter. I'll have to check the fit on the tailgate piece (I have the separate tailgate section and bed section only). The tailgate section came in a different box. I just checked the fit on the tailgate section and it looks like a good fit. Maybe I got a Tacoma or Ford Bedrug or something?

It says it's for a truck with drop in bed liner. You don't have a drop in. This is the discrepancy.

The BY07SBD shows for 2nd gen with drop in liner on bedrugs website. Your model # should be BMY07SBS.

Autoanything advised this was the correct P/N for the spray-in bedliner for my 2020 crewmax. I specifically asked if it would fit with a spray-in bedliner not drop-in. I don't recall their specific reply but I thought they said this is the P/N for spray in and drop in bedliner. I agree this could be a discrepancy. I'll ask when I call tomorrow. Thanks for that P/N, hopefully I can get one cut to fit right. I do like the mat.

PS I did my order over the phone for a special discount from Autoanything and they placed the order for my 2020 crewmax with spray in bedliner. I do see on Bedrug.com the P/N shipped is wrong and as advised is for the "drop in bedliner". That gives me hope then for a proper fitting Bedliner replacement.

Just curious, is there a different mat for the tailgate also for my Crewmax, the P/N Autoanything provided was BMY07TG. This looks correct, but they also should have advised to order the BRZSPRAYON supplemental kit to attach this tailgate bedrug to a spray on bedliner tailgate. I'll be asking about that also.

    Thanks!

Turns out autoanything doesn't offer the tailgate bedrug section supplemental kit P/N BRZSPRAYON for spray on bedliners as advised by bedrug.com. So Autoanything may not be aligned with the P/Ns needed? We'll see Monday.

Check out the XLT version if available. It’s got the material bridging the gap between the bed and gate. One piece. The only difference for spray on liner applications is the adhesion promoter wipes afaik.

I worked it out with Autoanything today. They gave credit and covered FedEx return for the sent bedrug. Strangely on their website it only showed the drop in bedliner, bedrug, but I gave them the P/N for the Spray in Bedliner bedrug and they had to special order it. I also requested the kit for extra Velcro and cleaner for the tailgate mat install that Bedrug shows on their website. So I was able to get the correct parts but not the same discount since this was "special order". The spray in Bedliner mat is 3/4" versus 1/2" for drop in so that will better and the correct fit.

My takeaway is if you order from Autoanything get the correct P/Ns from bedrug.com for your vehicle just to make sure you are getting the right thing. In this case the AA website did not show the spray in bedliner P/N or the tailgate mat kit that shows up on the bedrug website. A bit confusing but should get straightened out.

I did see it and tried to find a way to PM him. I was not able to PM him on my phone yesterday and placed a call to Autoanything this AM. It took a long time to get in touch service. They are buried right now with COVID19 activity. I did mention Mike and Tundras.com when working the discount and the guy I was working with said he'd have to go to the supervisor that he went to. They took care of me and the return but did find the website to be missing some things (2 P/Ns I needed).

Thanks for all the help. Greatly appreciated.

Thank you I did click that but the option to "start a conversation was grayed out yesterday" so wasn't sure if he had no PM capability. It shows you can PM now so??

The new bedrug came today from Autoanything and it's great even compared to the last material. It's 3/4" thick (for the spray in BL version) versus 1/2" for the previously sent "drop in BL version". For some reason AA only lists the drop in BL version on the website and I explained that to the rep who took care of me. I did not use the website to order but did it on the phone to take care of a special discount offered. The spray in bedliner version was a "special order" per the rep at AA so I was not able to get nearly as good of discount as on the original order. AA took care of me but just disappointed in not having the same discount applied to the new order. The Bedmat is excellent and fits perfectly. Again, the thicker mat is even nicer for the spray in BL. Have it in the bed no "flattening out" and will install the Velcro when it warms up over 65F possibly this weekend.

Thanks for references and help on this.
