Those that have installed these do you notice any more road noise? I wouldn't think it would be noticeable but figured I'd ask.

None at all. Only thing I could think of if you did, is if you had something rolling around in one of the bins, hitting the side every time you hit the gas or brake or turned. But otherwise, nothing. *btw, I have the plastic. Can't speak for the metal.

I have the metal one and no additional road noise. However, I had some leftover Dynamat sound deadening that I put between the unit and the floor pan and I lined the bins with tool box drawer liner to keep things from rattling. Some guys are using the carpet they cut out between the storage unit and floor pan. Not sure if this is needed or not.

I did the same. Trim the carpet pieces to lay in the bottom of each tray to prevent items from sliding around and rattling. Worked nicely.

I have a TRD Pro and it has the TRD exhaust. I didn't notice any extra road noise or any extra exhaust drone after installation of the plastic storage unit.

I thought about getting one, then saw the price. I decided I'd just toss my stuff on the floor under the seat, I can't see almost $190 for some plastic bins.

200 for something as simple and convenient as this is worth it.
Total factory look when complete. I ordered one within 4 days of getting the truck.

That's really not asking too much at all, especially for something that really offers something functional to the truck; hell, I've seen people waste more cash on purely cosmetic "mods" such as vinyl decals, tints, or badges. Plus, you're helping a vendor that took the time to do the research and development on a very useful product that Toyota should've offered from the start. Sure, ~$200 for a large piece of plastic may seem outrageous but you're also helping put food on the table for someone that did all the hard work for you. People have to make a little cash else there wouldn't be much or enough motivation to innovate or get things done.
