I think I paid like $120 for all four of.my sony 6.5s. they don't sound as good as.the kickers i had in my taco, but better than stock. I think I paid like $160 for four kicker 6.5s

Sony is good bang for the buck (it’s hard to not do better than factory speakers)

I’m a bit of an audiophile, hertz seems like I make like em. If not I’ll probably end up with focals like I have in my Avalon.

I’m also debating a small under seat sub. But we’ll see

Cross member be damned, I got the skids on.... mostly. Should've been sleeping but I was too anxious.

Friday installed spidertrax 1.25 inch wheel spacers, new passenger CV axle, drilled holes for the last 2 skid plate bolts. Did some 4 wheeling Saturday with a large group of Toyotas. Mostly Tacomas. I didn't get any action shots. One of these days I'll buy a GoPro.

Got a new mod in the mail :spy:
I can't wait for this one. It's custom and I've wanted this mod for probably 5+ years... It arrives by end of day Sunday and may be installed that day. No later than Tuesday for sure.

OP, How do you like your Toytec coils? And do they require aftermarket UCAs to fit/work?

I like em. They actually do pretty well with the added weight of the armor even though they're the 650lb coils. If I get a winch, I'll likely upgrade to 700lb coils. I don't think you need aftermarket UCAs if you set em to 2 inches or 2.5 iches but if you go 3 inches you do for sure. I got SPC UCAs just Incase. Mines are set to 2.5 but with the added weight of 4 skids, 2 sliders and a front bumper I plan to set em to 3 inches soon to compensate

Edit: I just saw you have a DC. Toytec recommends the 700lb coils for DCs.

Thanks to @SouthPaw for not only a good custom product at a fair price but some of the best customer service I've ever had. I highly recommend this man's work. He is a wealth of knowledge and very professional.
11/10 would do business again.

Glad you like them! I was curious how they would like on your truck. They blend in well and look almost OEM. Now let's get them aligned for optimal performance! :muscleflexing:

Nice truck. Thanks for sharing. Just purchased an identical truck and hope to use your build as a stepping stone.
