I go once a month or so, I normally bring only 200 rds, or else ill be wasting them, i have a binary trigger I actually stopped using it, i got the point of I was wasting a lot of money, but definitely fun to shoot.

    Depends.
If i have a carbine training class , i can easily blast 500-750 rounds in a weekend.
Regular target practice and drills , maybe 2-3 months and its gone.

Last ammo crisis (2012) I got heavily into precision bolt rifle. Reloading on a single stage. (Also bought and loaded on a progressive, but reloading 5.56 components were slim pickins). Only because it was painful to blow through 25 mags once a month (750 rounds).
I’m in a better place now, and not too concerned. So months with nicer weather might shoot 2K month, while in the winter next to nothing.
    Summer is coming up :D

The binary on the Evo3 is definately fun, but the range wouldnt allow it because "it might scare someone". Same with the fire breathing dragon aka 16.25" Mosin Nagant.

LOL. I remember the first time I took my Nagant out to the range. There was a couple of guys at the 100 yard set shooting their pistols. I let the hammer drop and they ducked for cover. They were not wearing ear protection.

The bad thing is i dont have a 22 ar, but i have other 22 rifles maybe ill look into it.

It’s a little finicky and took a bit of fiddling to get working. But with the fostech trigger and trip kit and the upgraded trigger spring it’s a hoot

I have the fostech trigger for my ar, is that what your using, did you just swap the upper to the .22lr, or the .22 cmmg conversion kit

Cmmg dedicated .22 upper and fostech sells the trip kit for the bolt
