I currently have your Squadron Sport on my number plate of my dirt bike. I'm thinking about this light in amber to mount to my helmet for dust. Where can I purchase the helmet mount pictured above? Also is the battery pack mounted to the helmet or in the rider's back pack? And what battery pack do you recommend?

Let me find more details on the helmet-mounted setup. I believe they ran a lead to the battery but I'll confirm

    Stay tuned...

Those would be awesome. My personal preference is to keep a minimalist appearance. I wonder if there's a mounting spot where they wouldn't standout. I'd love to get some light out on the sides of the truck for trail use at night

funny I was gonna ask after seeing @Bailey IG post. Great idea. I use my XL80s like a a light bar. Having the small S1 on the side would be perfect for the ditch lights
can we piggy back on the xl80 harness so I don't have to run wires/relay/cabin switch twice ?

You could purchase a pair of splitters but they will have to be modified slightly. The XL uses a 3-pin connector and the S1 uses a 2-pin. It wouldn't be too hard to switch out the 3 pin connector for a 2 pin so the S1 can plug right in

We've added something special to the S1 family!

Welcome the S1 Spot, Laser :)

Designed from the ground up our S1 Laser fills the shoes of a large light in a small package! With the 2.1" length, width, and height the S1 is highly versatile for any application that is in need of light. Projecting a single laser chip through our proprietary High Speed Spot optic, this light produces an extremely tight 1.5° pattern, and distance that is untouchable by any LED or HID platform. If your truck, jeep, or UTV requires the ultimate in distance lighting look no further than the S1 Laser.

I keep waiting to buy a set of s1. What I'd like to see is a clear night shot. I'm sure they are bright, but would prefer to have an idea of what I'm getting. Any chances of this? You guys just need a battery and a dark room at the office!

    Sure!

The S1 is one of our newest lights that we designed to be a mini version of the Squadron. It uses the same LED as our XL80, which outputs 2,375 lumens at 20 watts. For it's size, it's extremely efficient.

The S2 family has a Sport and a Pro version. It utilizes a different LED, but it's designed in a pair. The Sport puts out 1,130 lumens at 12 watts and the Pro puts out 2,450 lumens at 24 watts.

Deciding which one is best for your application depends on a few different factors such as size constraints, what the light is intended for, and power systems. Since the S1 has one LED, you can only do diffused, work/scene, or spot light. The S2 has two LEDs, so you can do a diffused, work/scene, driving/combo, or spot light. Driving/combo gets you an LED that's designated for spot and one that's designated for diffused. This lens is most commonly used for driving and would be located on the front bumper of the vehicle. But if you're mounting them in a rear bumper, I'm assuming you need reverse lights. In that situation, I would recommend the S1 in a work/scene pattern. It's a great bang out of your buck, and provides perfect lighting for this need. If we're comparing beam coverage, the S2 series will offer a wider spread because of the two LEDs. From my personal experience, I would choose the S1 over the S2 Sport because the brighter beam allows you to see better of what's directly behind you. The S2 Pro will be the top dog out of the three lights, but a higher price tag. Let me know if I answered your question, or if you would like me to clarify some things. :)
