I prefer the WT over the Husky rear, I'm curious why you want to switch?

Mine were totally covered/blocked. Time for a block of wood! I never sit back there so would have taken a long time for me to notice.

Weather Tech gave more coverage for rear!

This time I went with Husky up front and weather tech rear because WT rear covered all the way under seat!

I know my front Huskys are miles better than the Weathertech fronts that came in the first truck. I haven't compared the rear Husky with Weathertech. I just figured the difference for the rear might be the same? Doesn't matter anyway, I don't sit back there.

I first bought Husky Weatherbeaters front and back. WeatherTech later came out with a design that covered under the rear seat. I bought that for more protection. I actually like the way the WT lays in the back on the sides better than the Husky. Now I believe Husky updated their design and it covers more in the back.

I agree though, I like Husky's up front way better, no slipping, great coverage.

This was a great catch Geno! All the people with WT and cold children in the back seats owe you one. :D

I keep swapping every time I upgrade trucks. First truck had WT all around- hated the fronts. Read here and elsewhere about the Huskys and haven't looked back. I have the stock platinum mat set stored in the basement for when I move out of this truck- I'll keep my Husky/Weathertech combo. Unless my step dad buys this truck... I'll give him these and start over myself :)

I have always used the WT's in my trucks and cars but after reading hear I saw many did the WT/H combo and I am glad I choose the H rear and WT from because they are a perfect match and but fir the minor twitch which is fixable I will stay with this great combo!

    Stock for now!!!
Husky now has a full coverage back seat floor mat. Mine came in today. Have not installed but will check it in morning when I out them in. By full coverage I mean the mat extends up under the rear seat. I will need to cut the floor liner when I put in the ESP storage unit. Saw that on another post and it works well

When I did my audio upgrade I planned to use the vents to cool my amps. I did use the heat gun and put graphite foam under the vent. I heated my mats outside the truck so it can be influence better. It was the same for the sides hitting the door panel causing the green color plastic stress to show more.

Yes, weathertech sits flushed with the carpet. If you use a heat gun, heat the bottom side then grab some strong tape (duct tape type) to keep the bend until cold. You do not want the melt look on top where others can see. Remove the tape and it is good to go. The foam is still there just because.

I'm thinking a few pieces of thick cardboard glued together and spray painted black will prop that vent up. I hear a lot of gripes about the weathertech's but to me, they're a perfect fit and work wonderfully. To me, this is an apple vs. android discussion. To each their own.

I like the WT as well but I had both the front and rear for my Tacoma and the front WT slipped back and forth so I went on recommendation on her for Husky front WT rear and am happy I did, the flaw is just minor with a fix now! Husky didnt have full coverage rear a few months ago!

The double cab does the same thing. You do get a little more coverage under the front seat then you would from the husky liners for people with big feet LOL. If you fold that lip down so that the heater ducts can blow into the backseat know you've created a spot for water to spill out if people come in with snow or wet shoes.
