Has anyone added the bully dog platinum tuner, if so, I'm curious how much did fuel economy improve in economy mode?

It changes only a little bit. It would never pay for itself if that’s the only reason for getting one.

main reason to get a bullydog is it’s ability to allow you to customize the way that the truck drives.

there’s a little better power and a little better mpg as a result of the tune.

give a call for more details. 760-877-4234

I was told it increases the hp up to 90, do you know if that's true?

I got the GT tuner and can't be happier. I took Dirtydeeds advise on what program to load and its been great! Im running the premuim tune with performance. 93 octane only, but the truck woke up a lot. can't speak for the Hp increase. Not sure that's a real world expectation.

On a NA truck. Never! LOL no way. I’m not sure what type of HP is given on a supercharged truck but I don’t think that’s 90 either. Maybe with the addition of LT headers and full custom exhaust.

Its 90hp for supercharged 5.7 and its like 22hp peak 20lb torque for n/a.. Bullydog, dap and all the other tuners does the same thing. Ov tune and bullydog is the only one that changes igntion timing and fuel curve. But bullydog is way cheaper. But the best is ov tune..

If you have a trd supercharger running a trd tune, the bullydog 93 tune gains 90hp 50tq

Actually, a supercharged tundra 5.7 gains zero horsepower with any form of exhaust on the dyno and doesn’t reduce e/t at the track.

I never recommend headers on a supercharged truck. I do recommend a Catback, but not for power, it gains a slight improvement in low end torque, but the main benefit is less pressure and heat in the exhaust system.

the supercharger makes all the power. And it makes it no matter what exhaust is on the truck. It’s crazy to wrap your head around it. But I tried everything to kingdom come to make power on a supercharged tundra with exhaust.

Wow haha that is hard to fathom! I know you know your stuff. I just knew with the NA and LT there was significant gains and figured it would translate over to the SC as well. Learned something new today haha.

Tell me about it! Input braces in my kids face selling tundra exhaust, I was heartbroken to figure this out!

but ya, NA you gain 49hp 89tq and it reduces e/t by .9 seconds in the 1/8 mile. But when supercharged, a tune or pulley is all that adds HP

Ok what about supercharger vs headers full race exhaust. Which one do you prefer for daily driving i know headers are half the cost but half the power but maybe more reliable

Headers are not going to decrease your engine life like a supercharger and a good super charger will cost you 7k. Go with the headers and exhaust .

Ok what about reliability with the supercharger. I heard the transmission issues.

I’ve heard of corrupted files before. But never confirmed that there’s actually transmission issues.

i Have a ton of miles on my 93 tune. Zero issues.
