Added tow mirrors courtesy of Cool Springs with free shipping (they’re great so far), took off the 4x4 TRD off-road decal, and took off the iforce badges. Very happy with how it turned out, makes the upper half of the truck so much less cluttered and flow better. I kinda like the Tundra and SR5 badges.
My FWC is delayed due to the pandemic, and I’m going a little cray watching the little gal on my days off. Her normal daycare is closed, we do have backup care lined up if necessary, but we are choosing to keep her out of the public as much as possible at this time. My wife and I have been able to keep her and work around our schedules. I appreciate her, and mostly see the positives in being around her a lot, but parenting a 2yr old is a full time job!

Spoke with a semi-local fabricator today @BashFab in Columbia SC. Going to have him weld on some sliders, fab up some skids, and do the BMC for when I go aftermarket wheels/larger tires in the future. He’s doing a group buy right now so hit him up

Thank you sir. It works, it was $175 so I couldn’t say no. It’s so nice to have a fridge instead of ice slush. Think camping this summer will really be the test for it.

Daisy got a wash while she patiently awaits her next mod. First good pic since new mirrors, removal of iforce badge, and bedside 4x4 decals. I’m pleased.

FWC factory is back up and running. Hopefully have an updated eta on the Raven camper next week!
In the mean time I’m waiting on skids and sliders from @BashFab and starting to plan the shell-camper build.
Looking to start with 1000w inverter with 150w ish solar panel. Also excited about building a storage cabinet or two, and an indoor seating area.
Plan to spend most of the time outdoors and under the awning but would like a couple of creature comforts inside... just in case. Would be nice to wake up on a cold morning and make coffee and eggs inside, or chill inside waiting out a storm. Want to make sure the 12v stuff will keep going too with fridge, fans, lights, and furnace.
Getting so excited. Cannot wait to get it on!

Our FWC is scheduled to leave the factory in CA 7/20 in route to Bow NH. Glad to have a new timeframe. Time to setup an install date that works best for us :bananadance:
Hopefully get some late summer/fall camping trips in it!

Still on schedule for 8/12-8/13 FWC install in NH. Gonna spend a few days wheeling and camping (overlanding?) in VT after the install. I recently got my @BashFab skid and sliders installed. Chad is awesome and I highly recommend his products so far.
Also it’s taken some work to get Mainline Overland to be aware of the in-depth install for the shadow-awn, as they have only installed the factory option so far and this thing requires some beef in the mounting department. After a lot of research and informing on my part they are gonna fab up the mounts and install it under warranty (additional fees and an extra install day of course). Here’s how Daisy is looking0FC0DDDB-6993-4E83-B646-B2EB892253A1.jpgC9268440-5A1F-4ADB-B7DA-8C9F1F6971F4.jpg A9BDD091-E88C-41FF-8469-51BC08DF5993.jpg

Alright folks, it’s getting real now. Less than a month until my trip to NH for Four-Wheel Camper install,
:fingerscrossed: CA better not shut down manufacturing now! Really looking forward to exploring the NE. Unit is supposed to ship 7/20. Ordered a RackAttach swing hitch and going to order an equip-d double from 1up-USA on Friday for a bike rack when they open ordering back up for their products. Also installed durobumps front bumpstops hoping it would help with sway after front sway bar removal and I must say it seems to be working. Think my roll characteristics are now equal to or better than with sway bar. Also fast big bumps are so silky with these. Really easy install and noticeable difference.
I’m interested to see how the rear works out. Right now it’s stiff and bouncy, but hoping that gets better when we add the 1000 lbs camper. If not I’m thinking custom leaf pack with the help of @BashFab if he’s willing:thumbsup:
Also want one of his custom front bumpers, if he’ll work one up for a third gen.
Ordered the camper November 30,2019. Never been involved in a consumer wait process so long. Hope it’s worth it.

Went on some moderately rutted/rocky roads today. Of course I scraped something so proud I thought it was my slider, but no it was the ginormous gas tank
Aired down for the first time today and aired back up thanks to my new Viair 450p. From 20-40psi in 3:15 per tire. I am happy with it.

Thanks. Been following your build too, really like your setup. Colorado is high up on the bucket list (puns intended) of places to take this rig. Maybe when we get closer you would help with some guidance as to what we should do, and where to go

Ordered the 1up-USA equip-d double today. Geesh $$$, guess you gotta pay to play and buy once cry once. This thing better be the last bike rack I ever buy! My friend has the single and after seeing it there was no doubt in my mind it’s construction is above all other bike racks. It hits a little harder because I had to get the RakAttach swing out too.

I went from the Thule to 1Up and love it. Probably not the last I’ll buy as departure angle becomes a bit of an issue with it lol

I did some travelling a few years ago, I slept in the back of my Ford Escape.

I was drolling over all the guys with slide-in campers. Those four wheel campers are the way to go for sure. Pop top and all aluminum.

I still had fun though. Get a national park pass!

She’s waiting for me in NH! So stoked for this. Leaving Tuesday for install Wednesday. Then I’m gonna wander the East back home for a week. Notably they upgraded the exterior trim to black, and those little cabinets were not in the Shell model in the past. Don’t know what the space is like in there, but glad to have something. Comparing to old pics it looks like there was just a dead space there previously.

And I paid for expedited shipping on my 1up rack so I’ll be able to take my bike along. It should be here tomorrow.

Also I stopped in at Asheville Vehicle Outfitters on my way home from a bike ride. Happened to be next to an excellent bbq restaurant in Asheville right off of I-26. Eric and Ethan there are amazingly nice. Serendipitously Eric used to work in the Mainline Overland NH shop and gave me some ideas for camping, dining, riding, and boozing. Will be going to them for suspension, maxxtrax, lights, winch, solar or some combo of those in the future. They gave me a free shirt. I’m a sucker for swag!
