My 2006 Toyota Tundra begin to have an issue with the ABS and Traction control falsely activating when cornering.

This started to happen after a new Rack was installed.

After the new rack was installed the YAW sensor was replaced.

Both the Rack and Yaw sensor were replaced with factory parts. The same issue continues.

This happens only during cornering, the ABS system initiates with warning beeping and ABS brake pulsation.

Has anyone experienced this and found a fix?

Would you need to recalibrate the yaw sensor after replacing the bushings around the rack?

What is confusing to me is that the first time I needed to replace the Steering Rack an aftermarket part was used. This caused the VSC system to malfunction. It was misdiagnosed and the YAW sensor was replaced, this did not fix the VSC System from Malfunctioning. So a factory rack was installed and that seemed to fix the VSC system until the Bushings needed replaced around the Rack. Now the VSC system has begun to malfunction again.

There is a machine that recalibrates or zeros out the reading. My buddy had to buy one to fix his 4runner. It resets the angle reading

Is yours doing this on every corner or just on fast highway type corners? Mine does this but I assumed it was from hard fast corners where a person should be going slower. Figured it was normal even though it sucks and is scary when going 65 pulling a trailer! Wish I could just disable the VSC

You can always pull the abs sensors off and check/clean debris then reinstall to see if it continues. There is a pin jumping method to reset abs. I honestly cant remember exact but think its 5 and 13. You should verify before trying pins. Involves ignition to on and stepping on brakes like 20 times.
Only times I’ve had abs go off was lots of gas making a right turn where there was water or dirt to create wheel spin.
