low beams almost 900 lumens and high beams 1700 lumens. You are looking at roughly 3 times the lumens compared to halogens

 

the triangular plug will connect to motor on the headlights. the switch has a relay with 4 wires. basic wires for a switch: ground, +12V, illumination (you can tap to a close by switch) and acc i think.

So how would they compare to a 3,000 lumen drop in bulb such as VLeds or one of the HR bulbs?

 

you cannot really compare lumens from a drop in vs lumens measured from headlights output on a wall. I had the vleds micro LED drop in in stock housings. They were brighter but all over the place since the oem reflectors were not built for led.
the morimotos were designed from the start for LEDs so it's a lot cleaner cut off.

 

I have the Micro LEDs now but the output seems to be controlled compared to previous versions like the LMZs.

 

I was about to pull the trigger on the Sequoia conversion, since I am not a fan of "cheap" replacements, but just now, I stumbled upon those and they seem to look pretty decent. Those of you who have the Morimotos, how is the quality compared to OEM? Do they have a cheap, plastic look and feel to them?

I added one to my cart just to try Garagetime code. The site says the code expired Apr 3rd. Was it supposed to be extended?

This may be a stupid question, but... ...when are you guys anticipating another sale?

How do these work with the DRL? Is it a separate lead or is it tied into oem DRL?

Are you guys still on back order for these headlights on 2nd generation. Last few weeks I keep getting a backorder message in thr shopping cart

 

We are out of stock at the moment on the 2nd Gen. headlights until April 2nd is what our ETA sheet is showing. We'll be receiving more than enough for current backorders so we'll have plenty left in-stock!
