Greetings isolationists! I bought a 2018 left over in November 2018. Does Toyota sell a lift kit and will they install it to honor a warranty?
    Thanks in advance!

A properly installed lift won't void your warranty. There would need to be proof that any modifications caused a failure in order for Toyota to deny a warranty claim. That said, your mileage may vary.

I had a CV boot go bad after installing some takeoff Pro shocks, and my dealership had no problem replacing it under warranty.

Sure, they will install it, for a premium. No, it doesn’t void your warranty. They have to prove the lift is the cause of your potential issues. They will, however, try to play games and claim it’s the lift unless you have a great dealer.
What type of lift are you looking at?

Each dealer is different. We have two dealers in town, owned by the same guy, but the managers are totally different in management style and that trickles down through all departments.
One dealer refused to work on my TSS sensor recall because of my leveling; they even wanted to disconnect it. The other dealer had no problem doing it. The same would be for lift or leveling components - one will probably try to blame any issues on the lift and the other will gladly replace parts under warranty.
You will have to talk to them and see how they feel about it if you are concerned about the warranty.

Thanks. Probably just leveling (raising) the front.

Its really relative to the warranty claim. If they can link your modifications to the failure (i.e. broken CV axle with 37" tires) then they have grounds to not honor warranty claims.

Toyota says they can raise the front 3" to level it for $800.00 but have a 25% off service special right now that they're seeing if they can apply to this too. Waiting for reply. A reputable truck accessories shop locally say they can do it for $500.00.
Toyota also said they can raise the front 3" and the back 2" for $1200.00 but I think this wouldn't look right on a 2WD SR5. Thoughts?
    Thanks again

If that's just for spacers and blocks, screw that. Did they say what they'll be using for the lift?

I'm not sure what parts it is. I looked on line about buying parts for a front 5" lift and it's about $100.00. I've lost much of my mechanical ability in my 66 years and wouldn't try it myself or go for a "Joe's Garage" lowest bidder either.

you’re probably getting RIPPED off with some garbage spacers. Go somewhere else and do it right with leveling shocks etc. 3” up front will give you a serious California lean. 1.9 inches is pretty level and they can’t really screw with you on just a level. The PRO comes leveled from the factory.

I'm assuming your warranty is through Toyota. My warranty came from my CU and they've been super gracious on my repairs. Sometimes they send out an inspector but I've only been shot down once and that was because the dealer wanted 4 hours of diag time. I purchased the higher coverage that applies to lifted vehicles. Stipulation though: I cannot go higher than 6" and 35" rubber (I've squeaked by that lift height though)

Perhaps but I would think (and hope) Toyota would do it with the right parts. They have the combo front and rear kits in stock and say the front only parts takes about a week to get in.

    This.

Throw some 5100/6112 Bilsteins on there. For the rear I'd go with +3 Coachbuilder shackles

Toyota is only as good as the dealer you use. Crap dealers will give crap service.

So talking with my local dealer, I found they used a local lift shop. Then found out that the "leveling kit" they used was a spacer kit by RC. $800+ is what I saw it generally go for. But most people pay it since it's financed into their loan. I got a 6" ReadyLift and was told same that everything is still covered under warranty unless proven lift caused issue. Then was told that ReadyLift would take care of it then.
