Hey guys, I’m new to the group. I just purchased my first Toyota a 2017 tundra limited 4wd and having issues with ibc. Also my truck doesn’t show my trailer is hooked up at all. I have read a few forums about this but a lot of guys purchased an aftermarket controller. I would rather fix and use the factory if possible. Does anyone have experience with this issue? Btw I haul a 20’ bass boat if that helps...

Does your boat trailer have electric brakes? Around here boat trailer usually have surge brakes, and the IBC pickes up the electric brake load to trigger that you are towing. My single axle trailer does not display, but all the lights work.

I have the surge brakes as well on my boat but have electric brakes on my utility trailer.
