    A LOT... NEVER ENDS
DA is in my future. I sold mine like 12 year's ago. Your posts have fueled this purchase... IM EXCITED to dabble back into it.

It'll throw my finish over the top. This picture is the most current

    20200317_160937.jpg

It's kick ass but I think it'll become INSANE after a good DA gets placed into my hands

I don’t know what you’ve been using, but I highly recommend Jescar Powerlock on MGM. For some reason that stuff makes that color look better than anything else does.

Thank you. I spent a lot of time on an old 1992 Honda Accord figuring out what to do and not to do lol.

That's awesome. I really enjoy seeing a car go from dirty to clean and thinking "yeah that looks good," only to hit it with the DA and a proper seal and realize clean looked like crap compared to what a good polishing can do.

I still have a long way to go as far as learning more and techniques but I'm enjoying the process. Going to step up and grab a Rupes Mini Bigfoot here shortly as I'm finding I could use the smaller pads. Would make jobs easier.

This 10/10. I picked up some Powerlock and Collinite 845 based off a few folks' here recommendations and if you have the time to properly apply it (suggested to let Powerlock cure for at least 3 hours before applying two coats of Collinite), the results are absurd. I put it on a buddy's BMW 5 series just testing it out that is similar to MGM and it was unreal.

Yeah, I don’t know what makes it affect that color so much, but it damned sure does. I know people say that color doesn’t matter with products, but in my opinion it absolutely does. Beadmaker makes black pop more than Powerlock, and vise versa on MGM.

Unlike most, I don’t put Collinite over Powerlock. I tried it a couple of times and didn’t see the difference that others have reported. Powerlock looks great on it’s own in my opinion. Even when using waxes, I’ve found the offerings from Shine Supply and Waxaddict to be superior to Collinite. Of course, Collinite is much cheaper than the other two, so there is an advantage there.

I haven't tried them, might have to. I tracked the costs of what I've spent on detailing products since December...I could have purchased my 5.29 gears and had them installed for the price of the products and equipment I've bought to kickstart the side business hah. Looks like I'll be adding more to that excel spreadsheet.

Beat some cars up this weekend. All had varying levels of detail packages from mild to top notch. No paint corrections though. Got a 2019 Ram Rebel Wednesday (AIO) and a full correction on a 1989 Mako (21 foot) center console on the 27th. I'm deep in this game now...no returning.

2019 Ram Rebel. 3D Speed with LC CCS 5.5" orange cutting pads. Topped with P&S Beadmaker for some extra oomph.

The post you quoted tell you... 3D speed and beadmaker on top of that. It does looks pretty damn good, even for a dodge lol

Yup Pudge helped ya out. 3D with Beadmaker. Hit all the trim with Aerospace 303 Marine/Recreation (find it holds up better on the exterior compared to the consumer version). It was a mighty good looking truck afterwards.
