Also sprayed the exposed metal from my rear fender chop for the coastal bumper. I will probably put the bumper on tomorrow, I hope

Damn, I could have sent you my center bearing, I ordered that PN but it doesn’t have the seal like the 4wd PN does.

Your 4wd one looked different? This looks like all the ones I’ve ever done.. guess we’ll find out when I pull mine apart

Supposedly the 4wd one has a seal on both sides. The 4wd one is exactly the same just it has seals, supposedly either one works but I guess I wanted the “better one” a guy on scamazon does a side by side, if you look up that PN you have

Eh. I won’t worry about it. Price was cheap enough it doesn’t matter to me. Lol this truck while it will see Offroad won’t be extreme where I need to worry about seals under there it’s mostly here to haul and tow

This is the "sealed" part number. Not sure how much difference it'll actually make.

Yea I see my old one now. Difference it makes? Next to nothing. The new one fits the flanges of the flange and shaft just fine so it’ll keep the same amount of stuff out.

Add a leaf installed (wheelers). Time to measure and see what we gained for height.

Does anyone have a rough idea how many feet of vacuum line I'm likely to need?

I would hate remove, and measure each one, and reinstall to get a ball park idea of how much I'm gonna need.

I'd rather just buy what I need all at once, and spend the weekend going through.

Also, hose clamps? I've noticed that the only thing with hose clamps on my truck are things that have been worked on. (Radiator, brake booster.)

    vacuum line for what?
and i would advise not using worm drive hose clamps.. they like to cause leaks. spend the coin for the Toyota spring clamps. (hose clamps can be easily overtightened and eat into the rubber hoses, spring clamps are a constant tension)

Vacuum line for my truck. I've got a few with ends that are starting to crack. I figure if we truly are laid off this coming Friday I can attack that in my time off.

The trucks 18 years old. I figure it's time for an overhaul on the things I CAN do.

14wa brake upgrade (13we original) final thoughts.

Bled the brake lines again starting in the back this time. Took a much longer ride to test different ranges.

Overall, I do feel an improvement from all ranges of braking but most significantly is hard braking. This is using OEM parts so I feel there's still room for improvement as well as installing the steel lines I have. Definitely happy with the upgrade and especially the cost I have into it. The final look is much more fitting than the much smaller 13we as well.

I was originally planning to do testing before and after with actual measurements but since the quarantine, I got bored and started the install without getting the tool from work to do measurements so can't provide much out side of my "feelings".

I need to get this done... I’m torn between using the stock brakes or go with the 14wa. I’d have to buy new wheels sooner than I thought though.

I don't think I would upgrade if I had 13WL but because I had the much smaller 13WE I figured it was worth doing. I also found a wrecked GX460 that was be parted out so I got a good deal on the parts.

I have the calipers. (I have seem to hoard Toyota parts, seriously. I have 40 sets of corolla brake pads...) it’s just deciding if I want to actually buy wheel now or wait. My front calipers are sticking. Only a mater of time before they seize

After I mount the swing arm I need to drill and tap the latch, and figure out my final solution for the skid/stop plate, and wire the license plate lights to the swing arm.
