It had big old pocket flares on it when i bought it, took them off now thinking I may need some smaller ones just to help keep the sides looking good, but the pocket flares scratched the shit outta my fenders.

@junior what flares did you get. I like them alot. Nice and subtle.

Ya, I hear you, I'm a bit worried about the paint being ruined too, but I did my best with some clear tape behind them before installation Mine are the Bushwacker "Extenda Fender" version. No bolts and I think 1/4 or 1/2 thinner than the pocket flares.

I hopefully caught mine in time. The dealership here does a "KTX" ( Kalispell Toyota Extreme) package. My truck from the lot came with a 3"/1" Readylift kit, Pocket Style Bushwackers, and 295/70r18 tires. When I bought it, it still had all that stuff minus the 295's and looked silly with factory size tires and huge flares.....I have since changed all of that but the flares must have been knockoffs cause the insides were full of road salt/slurry and scratched the heck out of the paint.

Those Extenda Flares look nice though....might be an option once I get these scratches buffed out, maybe do a clear bra on the fenders and re-flare them.

Self isolating like a champ. There’s checkpoints on Oahu right now, namely on Kunia Rd. So good luck getting anywhere with less people. Plus they closed the beaches. :(

Big Island is nice... we have a lot of coastline and not that many people. We did this and didn’t see anyone except for planes and dolphins so didn’t feel at risk or that we put others at risk. It was nice to feel the sun though, my veins were beginning to show through my haole skin!

My lil sister lives up in Fern Forest, she's a teacher for Kamehameha School System. I grew up in California and Oahu for the most part. One of my favorite spots on the planet is that Kona Side coastline. How's the lava rock on your tires? I sure do miss that place. Aloha

I expect it to settle a bit, I only have 1/2 of rake now.
Just installed it yesterday, need to get it in for an alignment.
Then I’ll see how much I need to modify the cab mount, I’ve got everything to chop it.

The pictures don’t do it justice, it looks awesome in person.

RCI skids will be here tomorrow, man did they get them out the door fast too, got the tax discount on a full set.

Awesome, love the teachers, hope she’s doing alright with this time off. You’re right about the lava rock on the tires, it cuts and chunks them pretty good. I haven’t gotten a portable air compressor yet either so I can’t deflate to drive on it, I hope that will help once I do. For anyone reading: I really like the ARB lockers with air compressor, but are there any alternatives to these? I like comparing other companies but honestly don’t see many others. Open to anyone’s 2 cents

Thanks! No issues so far. I even cranked up the sensitivity to see if could get it to flake out or throw messages but it's been all good.

Nice trucks! Which headlights did you guys install? I just picked up an iHacker harness and am trying to decide between chrome, 2018 black, or TRD black LEDs.
