I have been looking for a couple months. Looked at several models and settled on the p365 as it should be easy for the wife to handle also. Looked for a Glock 43x, but I could not find one within 100 miles of Knoxville right now...

Walked into Rural King a couple mornings ago and they just got 2 p365's in so I jumped on it!

Nice weapon. Let us know how you like it.

When you do find a 43X, no harm in having another pistol...right?

You are exactly right!!!! We have a local gun shop that that the owner was older and has to get out due to health. All his inventory is going to auction and online bidding ends next weekend. I bid on a couple 43x's and a couple other guns so maybe I will get lucky!!!

I currently own a S&W M&P Shield, but have been seriously looking at this. Please let us know what you think of it after you put a few rds through it.

The 365 is by far my favorite carry weapon. I liked the XDS until I put the 365 in my hands. It fits like a glove and with the 12 round mag carries almost twice the ammo.

    Not enough....
Very nice man! I love this gun. I shot a few different compact carry guns, including the G43, and I loved this one in comparison. It fit my hand better, the trigger was great, and you can't beat the capacity. I like it so much so, I ended up buying it off my friend who owned it! He decided to upgrade to the P365XL so I couldn't say no. Plus he included a few extras :bananadance:

Im on the shield band wagon as well. The ergonomics are amazing, and from being from CA its one of the most carry friendly semi auto weapons you can holster.

I’ve heard a ton of gripes about the sights on the SAS. Pretty much the main complaint about the pistol is how difficult the sights are to get used to using consistently. P365 > SAS but to each his own.

P365 will be my next firearm purchase I believe. Any observations from a new owner would be greatly appreciated.

Purchased my P365 3 months ago. Never thought I’d get one but found a tungsten gray one I couldn’t refuse ...

also have a Shield which in it’s own right is a fine firearm but prefer the P365 over it.

I have nothing. I can find nothing wrong with it. I would suggest the 12 round mag for carry. It doesn’t make it much bigger and it’s still really easy to carry.

I like the Sig P365 as well and plan to get one. But my go to for home defense at this time is the HK VP9SK.

I also own a Sig P320 "carry" model in .357 Sig which is a nice gun as well but is a tad bit snappier than a 9mm

I looked at the P365 and the Hellcat. It was a tough decision but I wound up going with this.
