    Hi Guy's,
Excuse my ignorance but im not sure what get for a lift for my 08 Tundra. I just purchased new 285 70 18's for it. I have read posts on line for all different types and so forth. I think I am leaning towards a 3-1 lift? This is a three in the front and I in the rear right? I can install it in my own shop. I do not do any off roading. I do haul a little 4 tonne Mini Excavator with it tho. I installed a Timbre Tortun 4 suspension enhancement system on it so am hoping this will help.
I don't want to go crazy with it, but do want a lift that would make it look a little higher and beefier. Does anyone have any pics of their truck with a 3-1 lift? Is this what I should get?
Thanks in advance for any response!!

    Here is mine

It has same tires size as yours. the wheels are a +25 offset. The lift is the Toytec Boss front coilovers and boss shocks in the back. It is close to 3/1

Thanks guys, hope all is well with y'all, during this little issue we have going on! So here is another stupid question.....With a 3-1 lift, my mechanics at work here tell me I will have probs with my u joints in the driveshaft and will be putting new boots and possibly new cv axels in the front within a year. Any thoughts guy's?

I've read a few threads on here about bad CV angles, but I think something was installed right or was missing

I tore up boots on my Tacoma with icons set too high.....lowered a little now over 70,000 miles and the rubber will deteriorate before the boot fins tear I am sure....
