I torqued the upper bolts to 51 and lower too 89. If you don't have a torque wrench you can use one at auto zone

Couple quick projects today: ABS sensor covers installed, rear diff breather relocated, and added some storage to the back of the front row seats.

Here's where I got it from. No, it's not exactly plug and play. I had to depin their connector and replace it with my stock connector. I added pictures so you can see what I am talking about. It was real easy. I just depinned and plugged them into the truck connector to make sure I had them correct. Then I put them back into the stock light connector. I also added some weatherstripping around the light to help keep rain out.

Got some stuff in the mail...3 years worth of oil, air and cabin filters. Plus some fluids for the diffs.
    86B61ACE-6470-4D48-B33D-173EC1E2B88C.jpg

I'm trying to get a paint sealant and wax on this weekend. It's been dry all day long, so I shut down my work computer right on time and went out to get the sealant on since it takes 3hrs to cure. My goal was sealant today; wax tomorrow. Mother Nature put a few rain drops on me while I applied the stuff to the hood. Since I chose to ignore Mother, she went all postal on me once I got the stuff on the roof.

So, I'll be starting over tomorrow...

I'll say the same thing I tell any of my friends that want to buy a GM product. Go find one a few years old and take it for a test drive. If you can handle the rattles, squeaks and faded interior, then go for it.

    But it's a gorgeous truck...

    A LOT... NEVER ENDS
Fair enough brother. I'm going to be a tundra owner for life. Not gonna lie my impulse buy almost got me. I think a 6 inch lift with bags on the rear for loads will be just fine. Also this tundra is almost paid for... As I said I'm not gonna do it but the thought did cross my mind

nice truck but looks a little funky. Not sure who did the lift but a little too much space between the top of the tire and fender for my taste. Almost like they did the lift after the tires instead of the other way around. Go use that as a bartering chip!

If it has the 5.3 you'll miss the 5.7 the first time you hit the gas. I had a '15 Sierra for two years, felt the 5.3 was pretty gutless, but I was coming from a 5.7 Hemi Ram. The 5.7 Tundra pulls every bit as hard (maybe better?) than the Hemi - but it's been a few years since I drove the RAM.

Back to topic... not today but yesterday I installed Toyota deck rails, and then a Retrax bed cover. Started raining right after I got done and has been since. Guess I'll see how much water it lets in and where/if I need to take additional steps to seal it up better.
