Reading through some other posts, I’ve decided to give this a try. Came in from Amazon today....

Will definitely update with results. Might be a month or so for the snow to melt and warm up.

Picked up a new pressure washer for 200 bucks. My other Simoniz is still going strong after 6 years, but the problem was there’s no way to change out the hose for an after market one. The original hose was terrible and only 20 feet. It’s rated 1800 PSI and 2 GPM. I’m very skeptic about the GPM, but saw a kid on You Tube do the test on it and he was a hair under at around 1.95 GPM. I slapped some QD on it, i like how compact it is and it weighs nothing, as long as it doesn’t leak I’ll be happy. Just waiting for winter to be over.

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
Got a new shelf last weekend...
As soon as we get more than a two-day-max break in the rain, I hope to deplete some of this CG stock.
Reading through the last few months worth of posts, I think I need to up my detailing game and try some of the products you guys are using.

CG stuff isn’t bad. They definitely have some good products. The main issue is that they overmarket and create too many similar products, and better stuff can generally be had for the price. That Tire Kicker you have is pretty decent.

You can definitely get the job done with their stuff though. I’ve only used a couple of their products that I’d call terrible.

I ordered the fast correcting cream, the perfecting cream, and the 10 pack of wax removal towels. Total was $60. Should pair perfectly with my recent purchase of Iron-X and Reload. Now I just need some days off and good weather.

Correcting cream is an outstanding product. Perfecting cream was a little finicky for me. But still a great product. Just harder to wipe off. Correcting cream finishes so well. A true gem to work with. Love Griots stuff

This is dangerous. I have about $400 of Meguiar's products sitting in my cabinet and have been wanting to try some Griot's polishes, compounds, etc. My wife will be pissed....

Really didn’t need much but picked up $60 bucks in griot stuff. Still need to get my CR quartz on the ride just dreading the process. Can anyone tell me if 30mil is enough to do the whole truck? I’m thinking I need to order another one Idk

I think 50ml would be the safe bet and maybe you could do a second coat in some places. Especially for a 1st timer I think 30 is gonn . E short

Washed the truck with CarPro hydro2 foam today. Good results but think I still prefer cr reset with a coat of reload. What is the best trim product you guys recommend? I’ve been using chemical guys vrp I think that’s what it’s called and CarPro pearl which has great results in the truck.

looking for recommendations for exterior black trim
