$1000 deposit required by dealer

Run..kick him in the Balls if he chases you. Mine was $500 for my TRD Pro and it was refundable.

 

I don't see why you should pay a non-refundable deposit. What's to stop them from saying "Gosh, we tried really hard, but just couldn't find the truck. Thanks for the money"?

 

I went to three dealers that all wanted a deposit500-1000 and they said I have someone coming in tomorow to buy. Then the last one I found said come in and check it out. It was 3 hours away and I asked about holding it with a deposit. He said why I just won’t sell it if your comming. And that if I really wanted I could give a $100 refundable deposit to make sure it’ll be there. I was like refundable! He said why would you pay if you don’t buy it

 

Carguru is free. That's how I found my Limited. Throw rocks at the dealer.

 

Tell them to POUND SAND!!!!!!

 

Once you tell them to scram...they'll tell you they bring the truck in for you "this time" and will be begging you to deal with them.
