Hahaha! my neighbor is the owner/founder of monster hooks, he gave me one so I figured id run it to show support. Ive used it a few times towing friends out who were stuck and pulling downed trees blocking the trail, works great! and surprisingly I've never shinned myself.. yet! haha

Try the 525. I go back and forth between the 505 and 525. Son run the motoz arena hybrid.

Stuck at home, so this is lunch exercise.

Nice pic and ride!! The 525 wouldn't fare well in the mountains. I think it's more for soft loamy stuff. I hear Moto Zs are great too!

Nope, I was at home working on the freezer; frost build up causing the fan to make noise. Glad you were able to get out. I will this Sunday or next week.

I would chew that tire up in half a ride here in the high mountain single track.

the motoz get's chewed up faster than the 525. The 525 is just a more open pattern than the 505. If you spin up the rear all the time, all the soft gummy's will get chewed up. I usually ride the really technical gnarly crap, so spinning the rear usually just gets me in trouble or won't get me over stuff. 4psi and gummy is heaven to me. I really need to get a trials bike. even better, if I could find a good E Trials in this country....that doesn't cost a fortune.

The difference between a "cheap" tire like the Shinko vs a tire like the VE33S is that once they start to wear, the "cheaper" brand tire performance falls off quickly. Sounds like we ride the same type of terrain, the VE33S is hands down the best tire I have used thus far.

An E trials would be pretty sweet!

I've gotten pretty good wear on the Shinko's. the fatty front though, definitely not as good as the Goldentyre.

I may hve to look at the VE33S, was thinking of going the Ibex route for the Stix and Stones Hard Enduro in June.....analysis paralysis

And no, not Pro or Open A. I'm on the down side of a century, so I get to do the geezer class.

Bridgestone X30 front has been good for me here. "Geezer class" lmao I know what you speak of.

Heading up to Idaho on a four day trip in July. I'll be running the X30 and VE33S.

I'm hoping to do some riding in Idaho too, they seem to have a ton of single track trails. Utah does too. Here in Wyoming we have a ton forest access/jeep trails which are better than nothing but hardly any single track. It's kind of a bummer since we have so much public land.

Hey, just so everyone is aware. starting on Jan 1, Idaho, WA and Montana have required non residents to purchase non resident OHV passes. Doesn't matter if you have one from your home state or not. yes, your bike will start to look like the rear bumper of a hippie's subaru. It's getting crazy. And yes, they are checking already and not giving warnings.

Depends on the state. My 300 is plated and has OHV, my son's 200 just has OHV, so we just go with OHV rules.
