You can Tee off. Typically at the main line & reduce down.
I would suggest permitting & paying for the service though. It wouldn't cost much.
if it fails & you burn your house down the contractor is liable.

If you do it with-out a permit & you burn your house down it's doubtful your insurance will cover the loss.

This, the plumbing part isn't hard, but without a permit and a licensed plumber you're assuming a lot of risk.

I ended up naming the doors, taking all off and putting them in the garage with aome supports and sprayed them. Way easier than brushing

I just feel I can never achieve the same look with a brush as I can with a gun. Plus it would have taken me forever to paint the 16 doors by brush

I have 14 total and 4 left after 2 years, so it's not so bad I guess. Plus as much as I hate it, I'm a whizz with a brush and can make the brush lines disappear into the faux woodgrain. :notsure:

They make rollers for doors and cabinets - I use those. I always get really excited about painting projects until I start them...

The rollers work great until you get to the panels, then you will still need a brush.

I will only be excited when it's over. lol
Do those special rollers work alright on these 6 panel doors? I've tried using rollers before and they always leave that orange peel texture.
My 50 cent chip brush never seems to let me down.

I just went and checked my doors - there seems to be a little bit of texture but not noticeable.

I dont know what I was thinking trying to put down new floors in the whole house while we are living here. Oh wait, it was the boss's idea. ;)

Made it to the halfway point in the living area. What a disaster moving furniture all around the work area.

At least it's better than painting...

Nope my back is good, my elbow on the other hand is well beyond done. I've already got one Cortisone shot into this project and desperately need another. Getting the boss lady to do the hammer work this week. She's getting pretty efficient. No blood so far.

I did the same in our old house at one point. Put hardwood flooring down in the whole second floor. Had to move one of my daughters and all of her stuff out of her bedroom into the other daughter's bedroom and then move both of them back into the other bedroom after finishing the first one.

But, yeah, beats painting which I did anyway before the flooring so I wouldn't drip paint on the new floor.

Installed the deck on the Wheel Horse, then realized I forgot to sharpen the blades. Thankfully I can pull it up on ramps up get them, damn 60 inch deck weighs in about 300lbs.

    IMG_20200404_141249.jpg

Added some height to the chickens fence since they've finally figured out how to fly. Then headed to my in-laws to grout the backsplash I tiled for them a couple days ago.

Didn’t like the options or prices on end tables for the living room, so decided to build my own.

I took a 4’x2’ butcher block and bisected it (pic 1). Sanded, stained (pic 2) and am now doing oil-based poly. Hope to get 3 more coats of poly on tomorrow.
