My passenger window won’t go up. I checked the voltage and it’s reading 12v going up and going down. Replaced the motor and regulator. No blown fuses. All other windows work. Any help would be appreciated.

    thanks.

Switch? Try a switch from one of the other doors perhaps?

From everything I’ve been reading online it’s that master switch which I’m hoping it’s not cause that’s out the ass on price. I’ll definitely try that tomorrow morning.

Agree, it could definitely be the switch. I'm sure you checked, but make sure the window lock button isn't pressed down as well.

Rgr, that’s the first thing I checked! I’m gonna do some more trouble shooting in the morning, it’s like the electricity isn’t making a full circuit. Maybe a short but more than likely the switch.

Where did you test to get the 12v going up and down?

Apply power directly to the motor? If you put 12V and it goes up and down fine then it could be a relay. Look at the window when it goes up or down - if it looks like it’s binding or go too slow the window tracks on either side of the door opening could be dirty or need to be lubed.

I noticed in another thread that you asked about subwoofer and amps....by chance do you have your Center Cluster Integration Panel out working on radio ?

The below power window troubleshooting for a 2006 from FSM may or may not help....

No I hadn’t touched my radio in a few months, but I talked to my brother who is a Toyota tech and he said it’s more than likely the master switch so I bought a used one off of eBay for $60 and the guy actually threw in the passenger side switch as well so I’m hoping that it fixes the problem.

I think you're on the right track. The master switch is most likely the issue. Keep us posted.

i fought a passenger window that wouldnt work... come to find out the master switch tab had broken with the window going up.. so it was always "up" so even from the passenger side it wouldnt work.. new master and it worked. (After i wasted money on a used fuse box and alot of time tracing wires)
