It seems the leaf springs are worn out and I need to replace them. Do you have a recommendation? Here's what I have: 2004 stock 2WD Double Cab Limited, not lifted and I don't want to lift it, and occasionally I load it up and tow a camping trailer with it. The problem is now even when not towing and with an empty bed I bottom out the bump stops even on mild dips in the road. This is something new and I interpret it as a leaf spring issue.

My advice is the factory ones must suck. My first gen, snapped leaf, my newer 07, snapped leaf. Waiting for custom ones from Alcan Springs. If you dont mind the WAIT. I'm sure there are other alternatives that are decent and quicker to get.

I just replaced my stock springs w/Deaver U748. Very firm, controlled ride. I like them a lot. We'll see how they hold up over time.

Alcan can make you factory replacements, or add lift & payload capacity. I had them on my T100, and I have them on my 2007. They are about 1/2 the cost of OEM replacements.
