My right headlight on my 18 tundra seems to be pointed downward too much. Is there a way to adjust it? Thanks!

There is a white plastic screw or nut, I'm sure someone else will chime in to verify this, that you can turn, but it can easily be messed up, so be careful

I have seen what ur talking about. Has a flat heat screw top on it? I assume turning right or left would lower/raise the light? I could not find anything about in the manual. Have u adjusted it before?

I don't know what the procedure is whether left or right you're going to have to play with that, but yes, that is a screw to turn

Pretty sure it’s a Phillips head. I would Google how to properly adjust headlights. Usually you pull up a certain distance to a wall and mark the level of the beams with tape. There’s a specific way they should be adjusted. I adjusted mine when I lifted the truck. But they were correct from the start so I just moved both sides evenly.

Phillip's head, the slot and metal toothed adjusting wheel is finicky on what size Phillip's screwdriver can be used.

Turning the screwdriver clockwise raises the headlight.

@Vince Did you set the dial to "0" before aiming?
It shouldn't be out of adjustment, unless there is something else is causing the leveling motor to drop on the passenger side.

That is very strange. Something weird is causing the leveling motor to reset itself and not hold where you set it.

Ya thought so too I kind of wondering if it's just a weaker headlamp beam to make it look lower

You can unplug the harness to the leveling motor on the passenger side and see if the aim adjustment stay put. When you pull up to a wall, does both beam look similar? As far as light output i mean. Same beam pattern and hotspot..

No that's what makes me think it is the beam.

Hard to really know unless you can find a spare headlight and swap it out to see.
