Morimoto headlights

So i just installed the morimoto led headlights for my 07 tundra. My question is can i install the headlight leveling kit

 

Can't help ya on the leveling motors, but them headlights look good

Are those plug and play or do you need to upgrade the harness?

 

They are a direct plug and play. Although they are expensive and i only had them less than a week. I have no regrets. Let's see how well they hold up

 

Awesome. Thank you. I bet they will be like most all head lights and eventually fade but that is part of it. I love the look and really considering grabbing some up in the near future.

I'm positive these have the leveling motors built into them already? I checked mine whent they arrived last week and they do have the plugs on the back?

what's the headlight level kit? these headlights have built in leveling motors, just plug them in. they work great

 

Hey OP!

The XB LED Headlights do come with the Leveling motor pre-installed! If your Tundra came with it, then you can just plug in the new motor and you’re all set! If your tundra doesn’t have the leveling adjustment in-cab, then you wouldn’t be able to make use of that feature without running/installing that system.

Are these all LED? High beam, low beam and flasher?

I just bought a set for my 2010 platinum. One of the seals failed on my OEM headlights allowing water inside the passenger side housing. I'll have a pair of OEM's with the motor for sale once I get mine installed if you're interested.

I bought the morimoto's and have an 08. Not exactly sure if it's going to work but saw on another thread this harness should. Should being the key word. No guarantee. If it doesn't work, you can still manually adjust the up and down.

that looks like what I have factory in mine. switch and plug. Just run the wires from the headlights motor to inside the cab where you install the switch. Shouldn't be too much work.

 

Well that was super fast. Ordered the harness late Friday and delivered to CA today from Hong Kong. Anyone familiar can tell me what green and white/black stripe wire and metal connector are? The black plug goes to the switch. I imagine the other 4 (white and triangular) go to the headlights. That leaves green and white wires and the metal connector. Maybe power and ground? It didn't come with paperwork.

Headlights come in Friday.

Green is usually for illumination and white for ground.
