I recently bought a truck without a radio and got a used one from eBay. Everything works perfectly except the truck thinks I'm in Texas and I'm in GA. Does anyone know how to reset the GPS so that it is accurate to my location.

I can enter in a destination and start driving and it will give me turn by turn directions, except the issue with being 1,000 from my actual location.

Did the eBay seller ship from tx? Are you sure you have the gps antenna? Sounds like you might not have the GPS receiver and the last time the radio was on it was in tx so it thinks it’s still there.

I have a 2014 Limited with Nav and this model came from a compatible model. The interesting thing is the Nav directional arrow moves when I drive so it's "working". Any idea what the GPS receiver/antenna look like, I can look behind the dash to see if I got it connected properly.

Tim, with your tip I checked some videos on Youtube. Removed the unit and the cable for the GPS antenna was not connected. Put it back in, rebooted the unit and it's working with accurate GPS now.

Case closed. Thanks for the tip.

Glad it worked out and you could find the problem with having to spend more money.
