Yep I think it was an option for 03+ and standard on limiteds. I know my buddies 01 limited doesn't have it but my 06 limited does.

Ah ok, I was looking at the old emu kit and it one came with a 1.5" add a leaf but Id rather go with just a 1" in the back.

Delayed response. Most folks report getting less than the advertised lift with either type of AAL. Our springs are older and have sagged a bit. I did the progressive 3 leaf AAL and elft the overload spring in so I should have been around a 2 inch lift, but I got just under 1.5 (totyec AAL)

I finished my roof rack installation today.

Overall, I like how it turned out. The wind noise seems pretty low to me but my truck isn't super quiet like the LX470. First test drive with windows down I couldn't hear it at all but the second test drive was a bit longer and I felt there was a slight change but not bad at all.

Now for the issues! I did drill through my headliner in the back when the drill got away from me. It was the 6th hole in a row with a bad bit and I was just being impatient. The second issue I found today. As I mentioned, the bit wasn't in great shape and was sliding around a little until it finally grabbed. The downside to this is not all of the holes were perfectly centered which I didn't think was a big deal because there was adequate play in the rack itself to adjust. The issue was the nutsert tool wouldn't fit when it was too close to the edge. This was a huge pain where I had to bend/wedge the tool in and on the 2nd to the last nutsert, I broke the 1/4-20 bit. So, I just tossed the last nutsert in with the silicone and let it dry. It will get fixed in the future but it's going to rain Wed. so I just wanted it to get finished and let the silicone dry for at least a couple days. The third issue was the alignment. I am out of square about 1/4" which lead to the last (2) bolts not lining up to install. I modified the bracket to make it work. It's very solid but I will need to adjust the rack when I fix the nutsert in the future.

Lastly, I should have washed the truck beforehand but I am very happy with how this is coming together. I have a 4 gallon rotopax and (2) knock-off maxtrax that will get installed onto an aluminum panel then to the roof rack since the bars don't align with the mounting points on either product (at least not in the orientation I want to run them). This will probably have to wait until Corona is over as I will knock this out at my work. Hopefully, by then, I will also have the pelican case I plan to use for future recovery gear/air compressor.

Installed the 14WA brakes today. After having them milled 3.5mm on the ears to align the rotors, it was a very straight forward installation. I had a little trouble aligning the brake line but more so because it was my first time messing it and I didn't quite realize how it worked. Once I figured it out, the driver's side took about 30-45 mins. I still need to bleed the brakes and top them off but it's my little girls 3rd birthday so trying to make the most of it during quarantine...

Anyway, grabbed a few pics to show the difference from 13WE to 14WA and the final product.

Not yet! Taking a break to spend time with the daughter. Probably won't get back to it until she naps (if she naps)...

Finally, bleed the brakes and took her for a quick spin.

    My initial thoughts are:
    • Normal stopping slow speed - Little change
    • 40mph to 0mph - I had my daughter with me because she was begging for a "ride in daddy's truck", but I do feel there was a definite enhancement here.
Overall, I do feel I need to bleed more as the pedal still feels a bit mushy but I also feel like it's always been like that but now I'm really trying to pay close attention. I didn't start in the back when doing the bleed as I only removed the fronts but I think I need to re-bleed from the back then pass. front then driver front. Overall, the fluid is definitely clean that's coming out but still nervous I might have air in the system. I will need to get more fluid and maybe do this tomorrow.

Overall, very happy with the upgrade, especially for $155! ($80 for the calipers/rotors/pads, $60 for machining and ~$15 for a can of caliper paint and steel brush)

Is that a Victory roof rack for an 05+ Tacoma? Can you please tell me if you got the one for the access cab like yours or the DC?

Nope, it's @toyotech2016 rack. You can PM him and he'll give you a shipped price. He sends you the hardware and the raw aluminum brackets that attach to your roof but then you order the extrusion crossbars separately. He helps get you the right stuff and it worked out well.

My advice, if you go this route, make sure all the holes you drill are very centered in the track otherwise you will have a hell of a time getting the nutsert tool in there!

Sorry I missed this comment! I did not service it yet. I'm trying to think back to when I did all the preventative maintenance what my mechanic and I talked about. I believe it was "looked over" but nothing was done to it.

This is something I have on my list of things to do.

Rotopax installed, (1) of the (2) Pelican 1520 cases installed and everything mocked up. Need to order more bolts for the pelican cases and the maxtrax mounting kit for the knockoff maxtrax.

Cases were a bit higher than expected but feel the depth is needed for storage.

Love seeing my racks outfitted. Our gutter channel is slim compared to the newer vehicles so the nutsert is a tight fit. You can make your own nutsert tool using some bolts and nuts. But you’ll have to be able to get a wrench into the gutter area. I did get a few holes in my headliner but I can’t even tell where they are.
