Dude! I did the same thing just recently. I also painted my reflectors and shrouds black and was not able to find blacked out corners unless I purchased both corners and headlights as a 4 piece kit. I didn't want to do that so I also have light colored corners with black headlights. LOL.

Did this today in preparation for tomorrow's power wash. Found one dirt dobber nest behind my rear seat. Lol must be all those days of windows being cracked in the summer. It's in need of good vacuuming. That will happen tomorrow before carpet removal.

I think my carpet will fit in the bed of my truck for pressure washing. It might be bigger than I am expecting with all the ups and downs it makes around the floor board.

I will look into sound proofing the rear later on now that I know how to remove the rear seat as well. Lol

More pictures can come if requested. I am satisfied with the one as of right now.

I don't know if it's legal or not, but I'll be driving it to work tonight like this. It should make things interesting.

Also I reinstalled all the bolts in correct holes so I wouldn't lose them.

Good call on the pressure washer. What are you going to spray on it first? Whatever you pick, I would let it soak on there for a while. Especially the bad stains.

I think regular dawn in the new spray bottle thing will work fine.

Hose it down, apply dawn, and scrub. Let sit for a while. (Grab some dinner since it will be after work.) And then blast the hell out of it.

Edit: I also will use my moms carpet cleaner machine thing for cost savings. It's a bissel or a little green machine. Can't remember right now.

It has a vacuum thing with a brush thingy on it.

The more tired I become the more I use thingy instead of descriptors. Lol

    Any suggestions are welcome.

I'm probably going to bite the bullet and order the blacked out 4 piece kit. My oem headlights are in pretty rough shape even after cleaning them up and UV protecting them.

I'm very slowly progressing in my war against chrome :)

Did you end up going with the D2s projector? I used an H1 because I was worried about the size, but it looks like there would have been plenty of room for a D2s.

Yea I was hoping to find a manual but settled on the fact that I'd probably get auto if i wanted this truck since I was never coming across a manual one. Then one popped up on my lunch break that was manual with 77,000 miles! I grabbed it the next day

Tested the new brakes today while hauling a load of N95 Particulate Masks. Truck stopped in the middle of an intersection right in front of Barney Fife. ABS works. Started coughing real hard so he looked the other way and drove off.

I think they physically should fit, but they don't have the little city light in the corner. I have a set of 05 headlight buckets that were used on an 01, the guy had to trim off a bracket and use velcro between the headlight and corner marker.

Absolutely a breeze. The hardest part was breaking the bolts holding down the front seatbelts. I do have an access cab. I did take out the rear seat and it really opened up access. The floor kick panels (you already took out) were simple. Just take it one small step at a time and you will be fine. I just pulled the carpet out from the rear plastic surround at the access door with out taking out the trim.

A little bit of Kroil on the bolts before removal really helped. I didn't have a tap or die to clean up the small amount of rust from rear bolts, or nuts.

I cleaned that up as best I could with a wire brush and ran them in and out of the welded nuts. All good now.

    Reassembling should be a breeze.

I'll make sure to take pictures.

After and then before. The nasty was all near the bottom. Like he spilled something that migrated all around the perimeter. I used simple green and a pressure washer.
