I purchased my 2015 FFV Tundra and wanted to S/C it right out of the gate. Back then there was only one option available to make that happen. UNICHIP. You had to go through inserting their piggy back solution to make the FFV a viable option then you needed to sort out what parts from the fit kit would work and what would not. (Fuel pump, which injectors etc)
Once you figured all of this out you had a problem with the MAF, and would have to replace the large TRD air box with the stock air box to get A/F ratios that were in the mid to high 12's just to prevent a piston from melting down. Shift patterns were erratic at best with a nice hunt at the upper end of the RPM. Getting assistance out of Unichip was like pulling teeth. Just about every answer is its working properly and its your fault if there is anything wrong, if you could get an answer at all.

Well I am happy to say that those days are over. Gone are the days of dealing with a piss poor solution. You now have the ability to contact the folks at the Sparks Toyota parts department and for just north of seven hundred dollars, you can get a FFV solution that actually works. The Bullydog tuner that was developed in cooperation with Magnuson for the SC is a godsend. You get to deal with friendly people at Sparks who are more than happy to help you. Then when you are ready to pull all of the Unichip BS out of your truck and upload the new tune from Bullydog, you just make a quick phone call to the folks at BD and they not only stay on the phone with you to help, they will actually remotely jump on your PC with you and walk you through the steps to download the updates and the correct software tunes. They will help you with the install and stay on the phone with you the whole time. They make it an absolute pleasure to deal with them and you will walk away with a smile on your face.

The end result is a truck that works like it came from the factory with the SC. Installing the new fuel pump relay is as easy as it gets, and putting the pressure switch on that controls the fuel pump high and low pressure on/off is simple.

I cant thank the team at Sparks and Bullydog enough for their assistance. It was a fast and painless process and well worth the expense.

If you have a early FFV/SC set up and would like to vastly improve it, get the Bullydog Tuner from Sparks. Its a godsend.

Reviving this old thread. @Vector W8 @dirtydeeds Do either of you happen to have a picture of the pressure switch? I'm having some issues and am trying to figure out #1 if I have this pressure switch installed or not and #2 if it's needed in my case. Thanks.

Here is a shot of the pressure switch for the fuel pump. It is located on the drivers side of the supercharger close to the back of it. In the photo it is behind the coolant hose for the intercooler. The switch has a hose that its in that attaches to a vacuum port on the supercharger : SC SWITCH.jpg
