Like the color matched better but that black out still looks better than the chrome imo! Love that cement!

Any idea on how to best black out the grill surround? Do you remove it and paint it, or do you buy a flat black replacement grill surround?

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
Two ideas buy & paint a gloss black one @Roman, or have it color matched via body shop.
Or have it wrapped via vehicle color vinyl wrap made by 3M
My last one was painted white as the 040 color.
Now I got a blue truck

That looks great. I want those! It looks like the bed cover spray. You keeping the grille as-is or you got plans there too?

I had mine all wrapped in vinyl but I recently bought a color matched grill and hood bulge and kept the bumpers black.grill.jpg

Damn. I love this idea. I feel like the chrome is a little bit dated looking. Easy install?

I just ordered a trd pro grill for ol Whitey. Thinking I am going to white out the front chrome and then (matte) black the rear. I was going to go all white but saw a pic of the white rear and it looked kind of too funky for me. I like a more subtle/clean look, probably why I’m fixing to debadge it too. Just got to wear down the boss on that part;)

Plastidip is a good idea if you have a plan to go back to stock look in the future.
