TIN#, that's so they can claim it as a donation. If you don't put that # you will probably get denied. You need that Hospital #.

    I couldn't find a TIN#
I used the EIN# from my W2 but will try to find out the TIN tomorrow and post how to obtain that. I hope everyone gets some stuff.

So here's a question. I have an open bag of 3M N95 masks that are a few years old. I've heard they expire. Will they take am open bag? I feel like they probably wont.

We will take anything. We are wearing 1 time use masks all day long and washing them as we go. No questions asked just drop them off at an ER or police or fire station.

So for all you folks who like to imbibe in a drink now and then. Have a shot of straight alcohol daily, and drinks LOTS of water throughout the day. COVID19 colonizes in the throat, and takes hours to colonize, drinking water can wash the virus down your throat into your acidic stomach and it'll die. A shot of 80 proof booze is as good as hand sanitizer at killing this virus, so why the hell not. It's not a cure and isn't proven but I am sure that with the colonization being in the throat, these ideas will help.

    anyway back to the thread

PLEASE DONATE ANY PPE YOU HAVE, WE NEED PPE.

NYC is at the brink already, out of equipment, Dr's are patients in ICUs. They are cutting holes in walls and putting fans in to evacuate air from the patients room to make a "negative pressure" room.
ITS BAD AND WILL ONLY GET WORSE

NY Presbyterian normally uses 4k N95 masks a day, they are currently at about 20k, expecting to jump to 70k+ in 3 or 4 weeks when this starts to peak.

Here in CT there is some discussion starting to ramp up involving the use of our 2 casinos as makeshift hospitals. They have been shut down for a week and the possibility is being explored, hopefully at least a plan to be able to get areas and rooms set up in a day or two is needed

Thanks for starting this thread. I can’t stress this enough. I spent 16 hours at our ED yesterday and medical staff were making their own hair bonnets out of Saran Wrap for PPE. Find what you can and donate please.

kudos to all the companies stepping up and doing the right thing.

Almost 50% jump in cases in CT today...not related to increased testing, number of tests have been consistent for about 4 days now.
Stay at home people, and just because your place of work deems you essential, it doesn't mean you shouldn't question that.

how bad are the cases you are seeing?

I wish international travel was stopped back when they first started warning about this.

I bet you at the next viral scare they will lock out whatever country is experiencing the problem.

I understand it goes deeper than that but it's a starting point. perhaps listening to the experts and not undermining them would help alot too.

be safe up there bud. god knows some on here will run out of your syrup soon

The severity of the cases varies, from people now knowing they have it to people on ventilators, all depends in underlying conditions really.

I work for a construction company, and we donated all we had. The problem is, even a lot of us don't have masks either.

Isaami, Don't know what kind of construction you do but I am in water works.. We use cutoff saws to cut pavement and the iron pipe as well.. We don't have masks either so I've resorted to bandanas. I'm sure you've thought of that but just anything to cut down on particulates is worth it.. Better then the hospital personal have to deal with...
