Going to do a review of these hybrid at/mt tires. Have about 3000 miles of mixed highway, city and 300 miles off road. These are excellent tires. Some of the best I've tried. They definitely live up to the advertisement as being quiet for on road and superior traction off road than a strictly at or mt tires. Additionally the design is extremely good at removing mud from the tread once you can get them to speed. I would say they might even work better in the mud this way as I was able to move without getting stuck despite tire spin.

Thanks for the input on these tires. They're definitely gaining popularity amongst the forum, enough so that I'm strongly considering them when my KO2s are done here in about 3,000 miles or so

I highly highly recommend them over ko2 if you plan on using your truck in sand or mud. The only advantage to the ko2 is that they are 3 ply side wall if you plan on airing down. Since I'm running 20 in rim that's never going to happen.
I also find the nitto ridge grappler to be more quiet and grip better than the wrangler duratrac. So if the duratrac is better than ko2 off road then you can infer accordingly.

I truly am after a hybrid all-terrain tire, I put my truck thru a bunch of $#@*. Sandy conditions at the lake, mud by the river, packed dirt/hard rock on the county roads, forest roads during hunting season, snow in the rare instance it snows here in the desert, etc. The KO2s have never let me down and are an amazing tire but only getting 30k miles out of a set really bummed me out because of the money I spent on them. So that's why I'm considering the ridge grapplers. Hell I might trade my truck in next year for a 2021 before the V8 goes away so who knows what I'm gonna do LOL

I don't like the fact that the tacoma be sharing the same frame and engine block as the tundra supposedly. If that's the case then they better give us locking diff and crawl mode.

If I wait a year then the new hybrid 6 cyl will be out haha. The 5.7 will be done after 2021 supposedly, I'll take my chances

I think the 5.7 is a proven design and if extra power is needed you could always add a super charger. I won't deny the fuel efficiency of turbo v6. Yes the tundra is a gas guzzler but if it's going to die out then so be it. atleast they don't need to pump exhaust sound through the speakers. If Ford has anything to tell us it's that the coyote engine is much more reliable than the EcoBoost. Most light duty turbos only really last max 150k miles before needing a rebuild.
