Had a great 50+ degree February day in NJ today. Had a Partagas Black 60x6. My favorite cigar.

    Ihavanas.

Im gonna give them a couple months. Actually I'll have one this week then let them rest. The Gloria's are awesome. Also grabbed a box of short de punch which are excellent.

Yeah the Superiores seemed better with rest. Ive been thinking about the new short de punch, but the cost for the size always makes me hold off. I love the Punch 48 that came out...its fantastic! Bolivar PCs and Party shorts are the perfect short smokes for me. I love the RyJ petite churchills, but the cost makes it so i probably wont buy any more.

I used to be on a cigar forum we're they'd send a box around the country and you took what you wanted and then replaced them with new sticks equal in value. Might be something cool to do here as well. If anyone else is in i'm game! Might find some keychains or leather door handle inserts in there as a bonus :)

The 48s are nice. Best short smoke in my opinion is the unmann half corona. I'm a big fan of the petit Edmundos and short de pinch vitolas. I wait for specials when I can get a 10 box under $100. Looks like you're into the LCDH specials. I've only had the 48 and soon the Superiore, what's your favorite?

Probably the HURR and the Superiores. Probably would buy more 48s if they go on sales again. Promised the misses I wouldn't buy any boxes this year. Trying to make dent in the stockpile.

I have a bit of a collection you might say. Collected a ton from 2008 to around 2012.

There's also a smaller humidor stuffed full of Opus X's and Cubans plus some of the rarer Drew Estate offerings back in the day (few boxes of L40's and Feral Flying Pigs circa 2013-ish on the top shelf). That top shelf is cut off in the photo but it's unopened various boxes just about to the ceiling.

And yes that's half of the walk in humidor. The other side is pipe tobacco.

That's a sweet setup. I have a cooler and a couple desktop humidors. Once I'm settled in somewhere I'm building a smoking room and humidor

Is the house next door for sale? Holy smokes...amazing walk in! I really need to start selling my pipe tabacco and only hold on to the ones I rarely smoke.

Thanks! Yeah that room went through a few different uses after I built it. Originally it was supposed to be a wine cellar then became well ... my armory. After that it became a walk in humidor and has been for since 2010 or so.

It's a decent selection but honestly haven't been much into cigars the past couple of years. I keep the humidifier topped up and it's a great room to walk into on a hot dry day! Need to get back into it but my wallet might not survive. Everyone gives this forum shit for causing you to spend $$ but a good cigar forum is far worse! And yes the house next door was for sale and the previous neighbors enjoyed the walk in quite a bit (both the husband and wife!).

Haha...no. they're in a Cromagnon Slobberknocker box. I bought 5 three packs. They come in cardboard sleeves that got too humid so I transferred them. No Fohibas in my stash

Nice ... I just always cringe at buddies who come back from places like Mexico with a "box of Cuban's". I feel so heartbroken to tell them they're filled with trash from the floor. Hopefully they didn't spend much on them!

I always feel like a jerk when I refuse one of the vacation cubans. But I do find enjoyment in sharing the real thing after I burst their bubble.

The misses says I smoke too much...but she is selfish and hates when I enjoy life apparently. Cigar forums will destroy your wallet and make you start hiding packages...

If anyone is up for it i'm all for starting a box and getting it moving. Can do cigars and maybe even pipe tobacco (have some new cob pipes I can toss in for those who haven't tried pipe smoking). Should probably get a list started with locations to lower shipping cost in between stops but this is doable. First stop after me won't be disappointed .. i'm more than happy to throw in some aged Opus X's and some pipe tobacco you can only buy on ebay for $200 tin just to give someone here an opportunity to try the hard to get shit. I am a bit tied up in other projects for forum members so not sure if I can get the logistics for this done at this point but i'm more than happy to be the starting point to kick this off.

The pipe tobacco side of the humidor.

2nd two are original batch Stonehenge flake and Bohemian Scandal ... both uber rare today to find original unopened tins. Stonehenge has be re released but not quite the same.
