My official - Storm Trooper Crew Max Build

After understanding what needed to be done, it is a pretty easy install. Most of the time spent was trying to figure how things would work, where to drill for the mounts etc. Once we got everything lined up - pretty much came together perfectly.

 

So another update!
Just added some Wheel Spacers and Exhaust (series 44 flowmaster muffler). She is taken shape!

 

Looks like another update to be coming soon. Just purchased a Security system with Auto-start and under seat storage Bins for the rig. It is also currently getting 31inch light bar fabbed into the lower grille, bumpers cut some more, hoodbudlge locked down, and Pods in the rear bumper. Pics to come.

 

Also finally got my Storm Trooper grille Emblem Forgot to post that up when I put it on.

I like the flowmaster a lot. I just did the muffler, not pipes or exhaust tip. I wanted to make sure it changed the tune. Nothing ridiculous like some. I just wanted something other than stock. Its nice at cursing speed (70) its quiet. There is some drone doing 40/45 (basically certain RPMS) but I go used to that real quick. Since install it the drone has calmed down a bit, which is nice when traveling (I drive a lot with the lady), but it is distinct to me which I like.

 

Thats what I'm looking for, nothing insane or nothing that will annoy the lady lol. I expect drone with almost anything aftermarket, just have to get used to it. I appreciate your feedback! Nice truck!

I am going to de-chrome my Super White 2017 Tundra CM



and was thinking of getting the white surround and PRO inner grill, then just buying the OEM black bumper end caps without painting them white!

Do your mirror have the puddle lights and blinkers?

I will be getting all matt black rims as well!

Awesome. I think the trucks look so much better without chrome. I am also thinking about taking the black stickers off the doors to show the pillars. I have seen this and it looks so much better without the black accent between the windows.

as for my mirrors. No Puddle lights but yes on the blinkers.

 

I love the snow on the tires, shows how far out your wheels stick out! Hey ... it's snowing in Phoenix.

I love the light bar in the bumper! Must resist ...

 

The wheels are only 20x9's but I added a 1.5 inch wheel spacer. I love the stance of it now, its just enough but not too much.

As for the light in the bumper....just give in to the dark side and do it! The dark side is much more fun...and we have cookies!

 

I feel like a little kid again.

Got the lights all wired, Under seat storage installed from ESP, and my remote start and alarm installed.

The pillars look awesome after taking the black off, seen a lot of that in the tacoma world forum, I may do that and take off the TUNDRA, 4X4 and 5.7 emblems after!

Beautiful ride. For the record, I'll be plagiarizing many of your upgrades. I can actually claim though that it's not my fault. Prior to my purchase, I was looking at different rides on here and my kids just happened to be looking when your truck scrolled by. They both immediately agreed (a rare feat in itself) that this is what Dad's truck should look like - thus the purchase of a SW CM and the direction it'll go. Wonderful rig you got there.

Nice looking truck. How was the leveling kit? I'm undecided if I want to do a leveling kit or bilstein 5100's.

 

Honestly - got with the bilstein 5100's. I just did the leveling kit because I was impatient and hated the drop look. I now have a full Icon suspension lift.
