@Samoan Thor I almost went with 285/75/r18 Duratracs but I really like how KO2s handle snow on my 4R https://imgur.com/gallery/RJ3MgiQ that I didn't mind the 275/70/r18 size. Kinda bummed that I didn't even know they now make a non-snowflake KO2 and I ended up with them. Makes me wonder how many here have them unintentionally.

I think that the salespeople selling them (in my case, my Toyota dealer) are ignorant to the fact that there are two different compounds. Add to that an ignorant consumer (me), and the end result is the wrong tire on the truck. At least they are inexpensive :)

I have these on my truck, on 18” Fuel wheels. Ride nice. Quiet and I think they look good.

I also have had great luck with them in heavy Tahoe snow, ice, rain, mud and pavement. I have not had them in sand. My last set wore very nicely.

@Huckwheat I don't think my tire shop knows either. At pickup we were talking about how nice they look and how well they perform in snow. I'm going to let the know, but I don't expect them to be sympathetic since I have about a 1000 miles on them now.

Sharing my KO2 love, 275/65/18. After these wear out gonna go to 275/70/18 which I’m glad it comes in that size.

Throwing it way back with this post...what size rear lift block did you get when you had this setup?

Big fan of the KO2s, that’s one of my top choices for my next tire. We have a pretty heavy and long rain season where I live and wet handling is a top priority for me, specially since my fiancé drives my truck too. How are they on wet pavement? I’ve heard they are ok but not great and tent to slip a little.

I've only had them a few weeks, but so far so good. I think I've only driven in the rain once, but they handled fine with no slipping.

I’m curious, because the 2 biggest complains I keep seeing about the ko2 seem to be hard to balance and sub par wet handling.

I will say, it took two attempts for the shop to get them balanced correctly. When I first picked up, the vibration was pretty bad whenever I hit about 50. Since they re-balanced, everything has been great.

I've had KO2's on my Jeep and Tacoma, and once I run through the Michelins I'll put them on my truck....but I never had any issues with them in the rain, at all. Maybe other folks have had an issue w them in wet, but I never did. Personally think they are the best tire w the look & performance etc...

That’s assuring, maybe they have different compounds that I don’t know of

Do you know how much weight they had to use to get them balanced?

I have the same set up with the Bilsteins. Did you notice any lose of mpg or performance with the 285's? I am waiting for my TRD 18 " wheels to arrive then pick out new sneakers.

Honestly have not waxed it since I bought it. I only hand wash using Meguiars gold class soap though.

2020 TRD Pro with some fresh 275-70-18 KO2s installed this past Monday. Suspension is all stock TRD Pro which I plan to keep it that way. The most id do is add rear shackles. Love the look, rides the same, same loudness as stock Michellins, but I have noticed mpg drop by maybe 0.5 mpg so no biggie.
