    Hi!
I had the sending unit/fuel pump replaced on my 2007 Tundra a month ago.
It now seems to burn through the first half tank of gas much quicker. Both tanks of fuel I barely got to 100 miles by half-tank. MPG calculation is 11mpg.
My question is, could the new pump somehow burn through more fuel, or is it more likely the guage is now off.
    Thanks folks.

More likely the gauge is off.

At the half a tank, how many gallons does it take? Do you have lift/tires/rims? When I was burning regular, I would get about 100 miles at half a tank for driving in the city. Not sure if it’s possible, but maybe your old pump was starving the engine of fuel.
