Toyota, like all OEMs, will continue to put tiny azz, p-rated donuts on their trucks for fuel economy. I sure hope some engineers working the next gen truck are paying attention to the massive aftermarket trend of installing 35's and design the wheel well of the new truck accordingly.

I like it. Given the worthless value of this hood scoop and how Toyota uses it on a number of trims, I'm surprised there are not more decal options pre-cut for this placebo. I'd like to get an American flag or Betsy Ross wrap for mine. I've got the Punisher on there now, but will be upgrading it in a few months.

Cut a big check to the roofer this morning so all the money done gone poof for a long time. Gave my mistress a sympathy detail today since the weather is decent. Wiped down the plastic, leather and windows, full vacuum, a wash and tire shine. Wax will have to wait a few months more. Then went for a drive to dry her off.

No pics b/c I've already posted enough driveway shots here...

Fun Saturday. Ignore my dirty truck...ran out of time today to clean it, and it’s going to rain the next few days...plus I’m lazy

First, BIG step for me...made the decision to go ahead and cut into my $40K ride! I installed flush mount LED lights. I was SO nervous! I went over every measurement like 20 times. Went with the $25 Nilights to start out; if I have issues with them (condensation, etc.), I’ll just get the Rigid D2 Pros which are the exact same size. One thing that sucks about the Nilights is they don’t come with mounting gaskets, so I made my own with some 1/8” foam rubber I had hanging around. Very pleased with the results:

Also, it’s irked the shit out of my OCD that the OEM rear door sill protector is smaller than the front, and that the bottom edge doesn’t rollover like the front. So I bought another set and installed the front in the rear. I then installed TVD Vinyl Decals on the door sill protector letters, and on the tailgate handle letters.

Hopefully I’ll be installing the TRD Pro grill I ordered next weekend...should deliver this week. I also ordered the TVD Vinyl Decals “Toyota” letters for the grill when I bought all the other stickers above. I can’t wait!

Nice neighbor, all I have added last few weeks other than the AJT stuff is the F-ing pollen. The pace of Dorchester D2 inspections and Edisto Electric back log the garage should be ready by the time it's all over.

Changed out the brake fluid since I just hit 50k miles. Bled the brakes by myself with this bottle from Amazon that has a one way valve.

Allstar Performance ALL11017 Bleeder Bottle with Magnet and Check Valve https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F9XHVKA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_o6RBEb1700Q86

Used a turkey baster to get out about 75% of the old fluid from the reservoir and then adding the new fluid, topping it off, before I started bleeding. You’ll also need a 8mm wrench for the back bleeders and 10mm wrench for the front bleeders.

Be sure to have the hose on the bleeder before loosening it. Then be sure to keep the hose on the bleeder until the process and it’s tightened. Not doing so could increases your chance for air in the line

I started in the passenger rear with 30 pumps once the bottle hose was attached. Then I moved to the driver rear giving it 25 pumps. Then the passenger front with 15 pumps. Finally the driver front with 10 pumps of the brake pedal.

**While doing this process you must make sure that to keep adding the new fluid making sure it never goes below the min line**

Doing this process used almost exactly one quart of new fluid leaving only a little left in the can for me. Your results may vary. I got two cans cuz I wasn’t sure. Now I have another can to do my ladies Lexus lol
